THE RADIO.NET APP IS…

GOOGLE CAST-ENABLED
By popular request we enabled Googlecast in our apps. Now you can enjoy radio.net on your stereo, sound boxes or your TV. More information under http://corporate.radio.net/chromecast

WELL ORGANIZED
Find stations that fit your taste with the radio.net categories in the "Discover" section. Sort stations by genre, topic, city, country or top 100 and find out which songs are playing right now.

CLEAR
Under "My Radio" you got everything at one glance: Your recent stations and favorites, songs you liked, your personal recommendations and the alarm with your selected wake-up-time.

INDIVIDUAL
Save your favorite stations or songs that you like, and get personal recommendations fitting your taste in music. You can access your favorites via the website and in the app.

LOCAL
Find the best stations from your current location, wherever you are.

PUNCTUAL
With the radio.net alarm clock you can wake up with your favorite station every morning. All you have to do is select a station, set your wake-up time and make sure the alarm volume is set.
Tip: the app should be open while you are sleeping. If the app is closed or running in the background, you will be woken by an alarm signal and can switch to the station you selected with a single click.
And if you like, you can also go to sleep listening to your favorite station. Just set the sleeptimer and relax!

WORTH HEARING
With the Editor's picks under "Discover" you will regularly find new radio stations you might like. Choose from classical stations like 181.fm – The Beat, Capital FM or triple j, online radio stations like .977 – The Hitz Channel and 1.FM – Top 40, genres like 80s, Rock, Jazz or Classic, or pick a topic like news, sports, culture or comedy.

Works quite good - only the station's playlist doesn't get updated - at least on my device. Would be lovely to know the song playing.

D70%
by D####:

It's quite good. I'd prefer it if it had an autostart function on reboot. Bit limited on underground UK dance stations too. Good enough though. Nice clear interface. A bit more imagination wouldn't go amiss.

V70%
by V####:

Great radio app, very neatly laid out and I have yet to experience any buffer lag. A nice finishing touch would be an equaliser of sorts or a good old fashioned bass and treble control. Just a thought. 5 stars.

R70%

Uncomplicated, no glitches. Need no other radio app.

Endlich gelungenes und modernes Design. War in letzter Zeit immer kurz davor die app zu löschen. Aber jetzt kommt das nicht mehr in Frage

Been using this app for over 2 years on both an ipad and an android tablet and it is good, very good, very very good. Two bothering issues though, especially for a paid app. First, unknown radio stations appear in the playlist for no reason. If you pay for an app you do not want stations pushed on you. Second, since the last update the app has been pestering me with a "let this app stay connected in the background ?" message that keeps coming back. This kind of setting should be saved by the app once and for all, seeing it all the time is just a huge hassle.

This is a very, very good all embracing and encompassing app. One I have been using for many years now and will be again and again in the future. I recommend it to all.

after 3 years this app still is simply crap. on slow/failing internwt connection it freezes, you have to kill it but the notification area widget is not going away. how dirty must this code be... phooey

Great app. But Chromecast support would be even better....oh, thanks!

New layout is excellent.

R70%
by R####:

Large selection of radio stations. Interface is not user-friendly. Writing is extremely tiny, even on a mini-tab, layout unattractive and difficult to navigate. Does not enable sharing songs. Why would anyone wish to share radio stations, anyway? Recommendations are very poor and few and seem to be either random or sponsored. There are better alternatives out there.

You will now lose the race by selling out to google play services, unless you update your blackberry world app ASAP also and add prime as us millions can no longer use it. Waste of money! Not true it worked flawless before sold out to google play services at least do as offerup app does as in you can bypass the play services screen after it says you need it but app fully functions after that with no more bothers. Hope you do or xiaa it is.

Need my money back. Im not happy to pay for this crap. Sorry guys very dissapointed. New update destroyed my favourite app. Been using this for years but now its not usable. Very disappointed. All can be done now is to reverse new update. Been good years unfortunately deleting app.

While listening to a track from the Far East- the playlist was replaced by "Bond- James Bond", authored by a duo of British men- I neglected to write down the names. Not the first time- something like this occurred. GCHQ? Also not connecting any longer- directly to requested national stations.

Pretty good, but when the connection is bad you can't immediately restart it from the slidedown-widget, and the settings-button doesn't work? Why do you have to tap it on the screen when there is a hardware-button for that?

Design is awful. Even though I paid for the app, I still need to listen to those irritating commercials. Don't have Chromecast support. I have never given less than 4 stars review for an app, but here I gave 2 stars ONLY because it works. Everything else considering, it would be 1 star rating. Uninstalled.
