AVR-Remote for Denon/Marantz

This app is much better Marantz's native app but I have found one issue. I cannot effectively scroll through available menu options by pressing the down or up arrows. In order for the change to take place I have to go to the previous menu screen and back, and then the carat will r on the next menu page. If I use my actual remote to move the carat I can see the carat move properly through the app, and if I use the up/down arrows in the app to move the carat the menu does change on my actual Marantz display, but that change is not shown on the app. Please fix. Works great with my 8802a. I like it better than the Marantz app. I was looking for an app where I could adjust the output level of each channel independently without bringing it up on the screen. Sometimes the center channel might need to be turned up for dialogue and now I don't have to distract from the movie when others are watching with us. ????

Basic and would benefit from enhancements Although my Denon AVR-S700W is not listed, this app works using some other Denon models listed. But there are deficiencies: 1) No obvious way to search and select Internet radio stations once you select the "iradio" input. This only reverts to the last station the receiver was streaming. 2) No obvious way to change the model # without uninstall in and reinstalling. 3) Once I switch to "display," the app's back arrow doesn't return. Home icon doesn't return.

Cannot link with my Marantz amp. I uninstalled the app twice. Tried to Turned off and removed power socket from my amp and plug in again but still doesn't work. It managed to connect once but once I closed the app it lost the connection and been trying a few times after that but no luck. Too much hard work.

Used to work but does not seem to work anymore. All that I changed was my phone to a pixel, so I think it is an Android issue. (I have a pixel, so it is the app)

I had trouble with the Denon app for my receiver so I gave this a shot. It works very nicely and no glitches so far. The Denon app was always searching for devices.

Usig this for about 3 yrs now and theres no problem controlling my Marantz 7008. A few controlls wont work and I have no idea why, but I work around that :) Highly recomended.

After last firmware update on Denon AVR-1912, app no longer works with amp. :( Otherwise really awesome, please don't give up on development. I use it every day.

This is by far the best app for remote for my AVR E400 I was able to connect ,very simple and yet not a lot of space used on my cell device which is a big plus for me, people not knowing the exact procedure are not following at all instructions.It has manual settings for easy detection between devices pretty Nice.I likes,If I was able to figure this out anyone should be able too.After trying all the others this one app for remote for receivers is by far bar non.Excellent!!!! Can't rename or hide or sync inputs on app to match the names on the amp, e.g. app says SAT/CBL when I need it to say Roku. Can change the volume though so it does 50% of what I need it for. Emailed author, but got no reply. Bad support

This app works with the receiver though I had to enter the ip address manually not a big deal way better than the native app which connects when it wants and most of the time it doesn't want to

Really great job with this app. Great for managing music from phone without having to turn on TV! Also, I can adjust sub level directly for wife friendly listening. Denon 4310ci

Doesnt work with media server. To be fair i think its the amps fault" judging by the the awfullness of the denon favtory app.

Maybe you fixed Android 6 scan but you broke Android 7 scan.

Way better than the Maranz app. This app doesn't crash! Working fine with my 6011. All features are supported as far as I can see.

Useless for Denon. Only on/off button works.

The iOS version of marantz app supports AVR SR 6006 unlike the Android version. No problem, this app is much better. Thanks

Volume button works better than the one that came with my NR1504. If you select something on the internet radio, you can see the arrow move and see progress happen rather than some circular thing that freezes. Menus work faster than the actual remote. I can't add stations to my favorites or change audio settings, but the functions that matter most work well! Overall, excellent! Using a Galaxy S3

No simple way to select inputs because the app shows EVERY input available on EVERY model of Marantz receiver (I have the 1604). Does not pick up renamed inputs, uses original name. Needs a simple configuration option for "Select the Inputs you wish to see on the app" so that when I want to pick one of the three inputs I use, I don't have to wade through two (or more) pages of inputs most of which aren't even on my receiver. I wanted an app mostly for being able to select inputs, a basic function, and this one does not do that well. Minor issues like the volume readout is off by one because the author starts the count at "1" while the receiver starts at "0".

Works much better than Denon's own app, even on the unsupported DNP-730. (Use DNP-720 instead). If only it also supported the internet radio function of the 730.

Long ago while using a Samsung S5 I had this awesome App to control my Home Entertainment system, which I lost upon moving to an iPhone. Now back in the Android world w the Note 7, I've gotten it back! So stoked i even donated a tiny bit to the developers just now! For all those still using multiple remotes to control your system, this Free App is Hands down a fabulous addition to your receiver! Thank you Denon!!

Let down by the manufacturer with and saved by this app. Works pretty well, really handy for scrolling through net radio.

It's extremely convenient to be able to control my marantz pre from my phone. I've been using this for years and I'm very happy the developer continues to support their app without a single ad banner or payment from their user base. Bravo!

Does not list the SR5009 as a supported device but it works well. Edit: spoke to soon! Some functions don't work.

How do I access the setup menu when my receiver is all set up?

Love the ability to customize. It's fast and slick looking. Does what I want it to do. Worth the $1.49. Why can't Denon make an app like this. Works on my AVR 3100x. Good job!

I'll give it a 3, not to be unfair and hurt ratings, but seriously? Bought newer model and was hoping against hope. Help? I'll give it a 5, as long as i at least get a reply.
