About Sensor Readout

Provides low level access to the devices sensors. Readout is presented in a graph for easy side by side comparison with other devices.

Sensor Readout is open source software. See website for details and to submit a feature request.

Usage:
* Touch desired sensor on the list screen in order to start the readout. Long touch the sensor to show it's details. Use "Back" to close the details dialog again.

* On readout view, touching the graph will stop the sensor from being read out. After stopping, the graph can be scrolled and or panned by a drag or pinch gesture. To restart the readout, return to the main sensor list and select the sensor again.

Sensor Readout is free and open source software. For more information, sideloading options or to leave a tip, please visit my website.

Nerd porn. I didn't know I needed an app like this, but now I know this exists I need it. Reads and graphs data from the various sensors my phone has, including ones I didn't know were even there. For instance, why does a phone even need an atmospheric pressure sensor? Or an ambient light sensor that can detect color?

by Y####:

Great app!! 4 stars because the Nexus 6p shows several unknown sensors. The app needs to be updated to reflect all the sensors

Y70%

Love this app, can't tell you how great it is to know barometric pressure at a moment's notice. Works perfectly on the Nexus 6P

Helped find a sensor issue with a 6P

Just Awesome

But, there seems to be a limit of how much data I can share with the share function in the application. It would also be great to be able to copy numerical data directly to the clipboard from the app.

I'm an NVH engineer that uses $100's of thousands of test equipment on a daily basis. Despite the low sampling rate of the sensors (guessing that's a hardware limitation?) It is a great way to quickly reference different sensor reasons to expidite test planning and instrumentation. Just wish i could view and export data from multiple sensors simultaneously.

Good but needs an option to change colors. I cant see the tiny red line on the black background. Lines need to be thicker and more defined so they can be seen. And wherr is the HRM sensor from the Samsung Phones?

Not able to adjust (yet?) for better viewing clarity. Logging, exporting results possible? "Androsensor" is better" atm.

Even allows access to sensors it doesn't know about. Excellent. Could be a bit better when it comes to pausing readouts.

Works as it should and needs no permissions of any kind. Shows sensors it doesn't know either.

would be more informative. Many other apps have numeric output. Pls add it. Thx
