Neben vielen Informationen und Bilder zum Feuersalamander bietet die App vor allem die Möglichkeiten, eigene Feuersalamander-Beobachtungen für einen besseren Artenschutz an die Hessische Naturschutzverwaltung zu melden.

Sie finden ein Artportrait zum Feuersalamander, das Lexikon mit Hintergrundinformationen und ein Feldbuch, über das Sie eigene Beobachtungen erstellen und an das Feuersalamander-Meldeportal für Hessen melden können Alle Funktionen stehen Ihnen offline zur Verfügung, Sie müssen nicht permanent online sein.
Ihre Beobachtungen können Sie auf zwei Arten verorten: Entweder Sie nutzen die GPS-Ortung Ihres mobilen Gerätes oder Sie wählen eines von über 55 000 Beobachtungsgebieten weltweit aus. Sie können auch beides kombinieren und erfassen dann punktgenaue Beobachtungen in dem ausgewählten Gebiet.

Mit eingeschalteter Ortungsfunktion zeigt Ihnen die Gebietsliste automatisch die jeweils nächsten Beobachtungsgebiete an. Wenn Sie die Ortungsfunktion ausschalten, können Sie trotzdem beliebige Gebiete aus der Liste und über das Namenssuchfeld auswählen.

Unter “Meine Beobachtungen” können Sie Ihre Einträge verwalten und verschicken: per E-Mail an die Hessische Fachdienststelle für Naturschutz und oder per Import direkt in die Beobachtungsdatenbank des Feuersalamander-Meldeportals.

Hessen-Forst bietet diese App zusammen mit AGAR (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Amphibien und Reptilien in Hessen) sowie der Justus-Liebig-Universität auf Basis einer NaturApp von naturrgucker.de an. Fire Salamander in Hessen Report! aimed at those who love nature as well as large and small naturalist. In addition to lots of information and images to Feuersalamander the app provides mainly the possibility to report their Feuersalamander observations for a better protection of species at the Hessian Nature Conservation Management.

You can find a style portrait of spotted salamander, the lexicon with background information and a field book that allows you to create your own observations and to report to the fire salamander logon portal for Hesse All functions are available in offline mode, you do not need to be permanently online.
Your observations can situate in two ways: Either you use the GPS location of your mobile device or select one of over 55 000 observation areas around the world. You can also combine both and then capture precise observations in the selected region.

With switched locating feature shows you the list of sites automatically to the next observation areas. If you turn off the location function, you can select still any areas from the list and about the naming search box.

Under "My observations" You can manage your messages and send: send an email to the Hessian specialist Department for Nature Conservation and or by importing directly into the monitoring database of the fire salamander-reporting portal.
