Mit der neuen Pflanzenbestimmungs-App des Naturparks Nordeifel wird das Bestimmen der 200 häufigsten Pflanzenarten aus typischen Eifeler Lebensräumen ermöglicht. Über die Kombination von verschiedenen Merkmalen wird der Laie nach dem Ausschlussprinzip letztlich zu der gesuchten Art geleitet. Mehrere Fotos des Gesamthabitus sowie von einzelnen Pflanzenteilen erleichtern das Vergleichen der gefundenen Pflanze mit dem Vorschlag der Datenbank. Alle Arten werden mit deutschem und lateinischem Namen und einem ausführlichen Steckbrief vorgestellt. So können in kurzer Zeit Angaben zu Standort, Wuchshöhe, Blütezeit, Verbreitung, Gefährdung oder Verwendung abgerufen werden.
