The Camino Pilgrim app helps you plan and walk your pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago, particularly on the Camino Frances and the Camino Finisterre.

In the latest version, you can do the following:
- Check out different itineraries for the Camino Frances (31, 32, 34, 35 days) and Camino Finisterre (3 or 4 days to Muxia)
- Check out bike itineraries for the Camino Frances and Finisterre (12 and 16 days) and use the new Bike Filter for albergues
- Simply click on the hiker icon to create your very own Camino schedule/itinerary from system-provided base itineraries -- with your specified start dates, and cities to start and stop in
- Customize your own schedule/itinerary to fit your needs -- long-press on the days/stages you want to change and choose from the given options (add rest day, insert In between day, combine two days, add extra day)
- See automatically computed cumulative distances per walking day, on both the regular route and alternate routes -- to make it much easier to plan your schedule
- Share/email your itinerary or schedule to your family and loved ones, by clicking on the share icon
- Check localities on the Camino, their distances, altitudes, facilities
- See pilgrim albergues per locality, and check out their costs, opening times, facilities, addresses and contact information
- Call albergues and visit their websites directly from the app
- View maps online to look at nearby localities and lodgings, using either Google Maps or OpenStreetMaps
- View maps offline, even if there is no wifi, once you download offline maps to your device
- Find out exactly where you are on the map
- Share your exact coordinates/location to your family and loved ones while you are walking the Way to free them from worry -- simply click on the share your location icon
- See where you are relative to a simplified Camino track overlaid on the map
- View the 4-day weather forecast at any locality on the Camino (requires Donation and internet connection)
- Look at basic information on the Camino.

The simplified track shows only a general direction of the Camino de Santiago. Whenever in doubt on the Way, just pay attention and follow the yellow arrows.
I developed this app after my trip on the Camino in Spring, 2013, to better help fellow pilgrims focus on their journey and reap the spiritual rewards.

This app was easy to use but I changed half way after a few cold accomodations to one that rated Alburgres. It would be great if you could add this feature. Heating in the sholder seasions can be a real issue. Also good if we could update prices which were sometimes wrong

This app is absolutely wonderful. So far it is the best app I've used on the Camino. I'm walking the Camino now in March and when it says an albergue is open it's open! it's ability to tell if you're on Camino and where you are with GPS is amazing! I'm finding albergues in towns easily with its GPS / Google maps - amazing

This is an indispensable app for any serious peregrino. Have done the 'way' previously with paper guides that were good but weighed heaps after a couple of hundred kilometres.

This app was truly an essential tool I used for my walk of the Camino. It has everything you need from route info to lodging and various timetables (e.g. 31,34 days etc.). Highly recommended!! Would take this any day over a guidebook.

Very useful app! I have just a couple of suggestions: including the altimetry of each etapa and add a couple of alternative routes that are missing. It would also nice to choose each etapa start and end. Anyway, it's been so useful! Thank you!!!

Superb app! Got us back on track when we got lost. Helped us plan rest stops, mail stops, ATMs, and where supermarkets were located. Great for seeing where hotel was relative to the trail and loved the flexibility of being able to adjust each leg in the app to match our exact itinerary and dates. Can't imagine walking without it. I have just completed my first Camino Frances and found this extremely useful for planning - I had already made my own schedule but soon ditched it in favour of Camino Pilgrim. Easy to use, with the ability to combine or split days so you can change your plans on the fly. Distances given between villages with details of food and bed options. Web addresses and phone numbers for albergues along the way can be dialled direct from the app. Decent mapping with GPS positioning. Don't go without it!

Used this app daily along with the Brierley guidebook and it filled in where the book had gaps. Gave great albergue recommendations, the stageless planning gave me more flexibility and the offline maps helped me get back on the the camino the 3 times I lost my way. Thank you!!! Will you make one for the Portuguese route please?!

Loved this app! We got lost a couple of times and having this app helped us get back on course immediately before we got too far off track. Also very useful in getting back on the trail from the hotel in the morning and evaluating how far a hotel is from the trail. Found a post office from this app, could see which towns had food, evaluate elevation, etc. Super helpful app. Only addition I'd recommend is showing real time distance to destination.

Best thing l have used to help me plan and walk the Camino. Would like it when showing the locality map that shows all the hostels in a town that I can click or hover over the hostel icon and get all the info on that hostel. I have to keep heading back to the previous page to check on prices, facilities, etc. All I can see is address and phone number when could offer much more useful info that would help me make a decision on where to stay. Love the app.
