VitaDock+ for Connect Devices

My use case: personal scale Tracking my weight along with some useful informations about weight and fat distribution functions. Presentation is nice and simple. But I am missing absolute values. Although percentages make for encouraging graphs, I might be losing muscle mass along with the overall weight unknowingly. App is much stabler now than before. Good work on that!

Terrible support. BW300 not working for me. Support replied this happens sometimes. Machine not compatible with some people when tested in the lab. So I guess the 100% suited for all is false. No offer to exchange for sth else or refund. New BU550 no compression out of box. New unit 10 days in service. No DOA accepted in warranty. No new replacement unit was offered. Sleek design but awful quality. Medisana never ever again. ..!!!

For a Medisan blood pressure monitor. Markedly poor software. In fact merely a crude interface which logs you on to the Medisan website. However, any error, such as not being connected to the internet, and the screen locks, with no option to escape, other than restarting your device. Easier to log on to the website directly, although the website has its own design issues. Easier still, if a bit, more tedious up front, to type the three figures generated directly into your own spreadsheet; which is what this app should be doing in the first place.

Why does the app need GPS location for pairing, simple use case: track weight and other body metrics for this purpose the app has really bad performance slow loading and animations. In addition it is a privacy protection night mare with its online account necessity. Sadly the only app with which the scale ist compatible. :(

After Google fit integration a real nice app. Maybe add weight transfer to Google fit :). Only thing missing for me is ability to change the weight scale in the graphs, now it's not always clear to review weight on phone.

I use it to track my fight against High blood pressure. Easy to use.

The app asks you some questions after each weight. Like: activity level, mood and other text you can add. But the app does not save that info. Also there aren't many/any customisation options.

One of the few brands that feature stable, reliable Bluetooth synchronization with Android; the only caveat is that the app always requires to activate GPS in order to synchronize with my phone via Bluetooth which is rather intrussive and presents some privacy issues

It's nice to track weight, body fat and muscle percentage. You can set a goal for a weight you want to achieve. I would rather set a goal for body fat percentage. Other than that, it's a great app as easy to use.

After 3 years still no Google Fit support and no multi-device support, what a shame. I bought a second Medisana scale and you cannot connect with more than one scale efficiently, using bluetooth. So the second scale is dead-weight... The new app is dead slow, 62MB in size and more an advertisement to buy other Medisana gear instead of giving a superb user experience. Hence the majority of owners is unhappy with the device and app. A long, long way to go, DON'T BUY !

does not support BS436 connect ? or does not work

Very unstable app, often doesn't connect to the scale. Latest version doesn't even start anymore! Tried restarting device, uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing works. And why does it need access to my contacts, phone and messages?

App closes evertime I try and register. Or do anything with it in general. 100% unusable on an LGG5. Registering with Facebook also returned a problem.

App works great in the end. Last version change needed a complete uninstall first. I was close to deleting it. You should really fire a few of your developers.

Not working after the update

Does not connect with my Galaxy S4. Instructions on the website not consistent with the menu of the app. It leads me to setup a profile on the scale AND in the app?! Scale switches off immediately when i try to pair. App design looks good, but that does not help if it SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK!

Now I got connection errors. Mixing up P1 and P2 . I'm returning the scale. Total crapware. App doesn't feel native. Connecting works. But no google.fit integration. This is easy to implement please add it.

Pay attention when setting up or it will not properly link with the account in the app. App UI is based on Pre Material Design. Missing the ability to link with Google Fit so info can be synched from (and to) the service.

Connection is not stable. It would be better if it is possible to download the data to a PC via USB I have deleted the app from my android.

I just received my product today. And downloaded the app. But during start up. I selected come to vita dock. Nothing happens. Even when i click on i have an account Nothing! If i don't get a reply I'm sending this product back

Some update a while ago must have fixed some things, because lately it connects flawlessly to my S7.

The BT connection could use some improvement sometimes.

Cannot sinc app with device. Support didn't help with anything.

It delivers its promise to register weight. Both for me and my wife. Easy and no hassle.

Cant tap on any button. useless, case no login/register is possible

Please add Google Fit, S Health or any kind of external connection. The whole point of having a smart scale is not having to log your weight yourself. But I do have to do it if I want to log it into a fitness hub. I understand you want to become a fitness hub yourselves, but exclusion and isolation is not the way. Example: I had several Samsung phones. I've decided to buy a Huawei this time though. But then I bought a Samsung Gear S2. And it works perfectly with the Huawei, S Health and even with Google Fit, Withings, training apps etc - and it is an amazing product. This makes me think about coming back to Samsung next time I buy a phone. Because the product is good, it impresses me instead of punishing me for not belonging to the Samsung ecosystem.

App used to work well, however I'm using latest version, and since updating my LG G5 to android 7.0 I can't connect to my blood pressure monitor. I emailed Medusa support, so they are aware of the problem, but no fix yet..... Will update this review when fixed!

Please, provide Google Fit connect. While 2 stars

The connected products linked to this app are advertised at Thermae2000 (Valkenburg, The Netherlands). In our bathroom there was a 'connected' scale. It's really easy, just launch the app, create an account and step on the scale.. Wait, nothing happens, stand on the scale again, turn off/on Bluetooth manually, reboot the device, try connecting again, get on and off the scale, look at the Bluetooth logo in the VitaDock+ app that keeps on spinning no matter what I try. That's some bad advertising right there.

App worked perfectly up until 2 weeks ago and linked to scales. Have un-installed and re-installed but without success. App still links to Scales on my wife's S5 phone.

Please, cut the extras and focus on a clean user interface. Badges? Really? I appreciate effort of the developer to continously develop and improve this app, just not the frivolous, non clean and slow responsive interface.

Not synching. Instructions online do not match display on the app.

Doesn't start on Moto x Force updated to latest.

App never work as intended, it could not even sync the time with the smartphone. I cannot expect anything less than this. Waste of money and data for downloading the app.
