Rain Alarm

This app is absolutely amazing. Very accurate, which is a plus for us dog owners that reside in apartments since the notification for rain comes 10 to 15 min prior to arrival, giving us time to take Fido out for a quick restroom trip. It keeps crashing however, after the last update on SGS8 devices. However other than that, it is a godsent app. Thank you so much for creating this app.

In new update, once i press screen shot, photo appearead black.

The free version has limited functions. Wish it had more.

Trying this app again - don't understand the proximity indicator on the widget because it has ~0.5>, which makes no sense at all. Why not just put >0.5 or <0.5, or whatever value is relevant? It would be obvious then. It's like you are stating its approximately 0.5 but greater than 0.5 as well. This does not help users understand what you are trying to portray.

I've been using this app for a while and I think it's great. It's great to see what's on the way - very useful here in soggy England! The only drawback is that it doesn't cover most of France.

Confirmed that it worked when a wet cat jumped on the bed and woke me up and then I saw on my phone that the alarm had gone off 20 minutes ago. This isn't good for me as I was already in bed. It rains so rarely here that it comes as a surprise and I need more notice so I can go outside and pick things up before it gets dark. I can see how this would work better for joggers and cyclists, though. [Edited for clarity]

The only genuinly accurate way of predictiong rain here in Sweden. Just recently it predicted rain (and it rained some 30 min later) while the weather services said clear skyes Awesome radar images also. Big like!

Trying to figure out how to get rif of grey area on my map. It's covering area of location and northern surrounding area. Need help fixing this. Thanks. Amazing app otherwise.

It's not working, should be showing rain & also big grey blocks over the map when on video mode? Will update if it is fixed. UPDATE.... I have been told it is a Met Office PROBLEM, so I am now using "Storm Radar" which is working great.

Spoiled by full page adverts, I uninstalled it, app owners reply didn't win me back to this app, there's lots of rain apps to choice from.

I love this app and have used it for years. They did have a technical problem for a little while but the creator was quick to respond. I would recommend this to everyone.

Wow what a great app. It actually works! So much more accurate that checking the weather forecast. You can actually see the rain coming over, and make a good estimate to within 30mins when it will start and stop.

Been looking for this apps to alerts rain! UNFORTUNATELY....This month this apps not WORKING AT ALL IN NORTH SEMENANJUNG MALAYSIA. SUCH A BIG WASTE. GOING TO UNISTALL IF NOT IMPROVE WITHIN FEW DAYS!!! FIX IT!

I like this app in general but even after buying the Pro version I can't find any kind of help menu on the app or website. I feel like I'm not really using the app fully until I can understand the features and options.

I find this very accurate, although it doesn't appear to show must or very light rain. Also the animation is about 15 minutes behind time, that's just a comment. I do love this APP!

Only alert rain for other place but not my region

Very happy with this app. It's convenient to get a warning when rain or snow are coming and nice to see local radar at the touch of a button.

Was a great app. Still not working for the UK. Greyed out so looks like Met Office still not supplying data

This rain app by Michael Diener is absolutely fantastic, a very reliable rain app. Superbly developed. A must have app. Thank you Michael for developing this.

Nice to look at, but since alarm function doesn't work it would seem to miss the point

(after i got answer which copy paste i changed from 3 stars to 1. its not real time its what was 10 min before!!!!!!!) 1. we need wind cloud direction 2. we need current time not what happened 10 or 15 min before. if you live not close sea climate it should work well. Stavanger Norway : all days rainy clouds but it can be that it rain just 5 min heavy per half day. it shows past time so it useless for us. at least add cloud wind direction. I found that clouds move 15km in ~3min so hard predict .

I like this app. I was wondering if there's any chance you could add real-time(ish) wind speeds? As a cyclist I use this app to determine whether I cycle or take public transit, as well as rain wind speeds are also something I like to take into account.

I think this apps is not good for Android version. If I zoom in certain location, it only shows 15mins before. If I zoom out for larger map, it shows about 1.5hours earlier. Where else, ios version gives an option to view few hours ago no matter I zoom in or out

The notification keeps coming up with null:precipitation. Fix the null issue and then ill be happy.

Old version was far better. New one is awful.

turned off targeted adverts on Google. sad that it worked. but rain alarm is great.

Very accurate. I use it before riding a motorcycle. I don't know about other locations, but the app is great for Philadelphia PA, accuracy wise. Would give 10 stars.

Works well. Only moan is that the circular location indicator obscures the rainfall indication.

Irritating alarms, too expensive upgrade to full version.

Good app for very local weather conditions especially if you are about to pop out to walk to the shops

Don't work with irulu tablets?
