Dabei tritt Franz Marc in einen Dialog mit Malern wie Paul Klee und Else Lasker-Schüler, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Max Pechstein, Erich Heckel und Max Beckmann aber auch mit zeitgenössischen Künstlern wie Joseph Beuys, Per Kirkeby und Georg Baselitz.

Im Franz Marc Park und auf dem weiterführenden Panoramaweg können Sie mit Hilfe der App einer Führung zur Geschichte des Museums, zu seiner Leitidee, dem Dialog zwischen Kunst und Natur und zu den im Park aufgestellten Skulpturen folgen. Auf einer Orientierungskarte lassen sich Hörstücke mit einer Gesamtlänge von etwa 30 Minuten auswählen. Über den Panoramaweg erreicht man nach etwa 500 Metern eine kleine Anhöhe. Dort lässt der weite Blick in die Ebene die Inspiration des „Blauen Reiters“ durch die Natur nachempfinden.
