Flux Cards (flash cards) for Android
5 stars!! FluxCards is very useful to learning vocabulary because it works offline!! Its easy and simple to use! But there are no notifications system!
Used for over a year now. Simple to use, esp now you can add photos.
I purchased the premium key and as soon as I did so I lost all of my nearly 200 flashcards. When I found this out I refunded my money immediately. It is not worth paying any money for a flashcards app as I've learned. What a pity!! I will go with Quizlet.
I have been using this app for over 3 years now after trying dozens of other flash card apps. For me it has the perfect combination of features (spaced repetition, ease of use, ability to import/export sets, good editing features, etc). I particularly like the statistics section (I have flipped 130,000 cards since starting to use it)
Thank you for your reply! so I change it to - that the design looks a bit retro.
I've been using it for a while, and love it. It's simple, and has the easiest method of adding decks from quizlet yet (making my own is too time consuming). I've started to study multiple decks at a time to solidify vocabulary, which makes me want to upgrade for the longer SRS period. However, when i use multiple decks, random characters/letters go missing/don't show in the cards, which makes it unusable. If i could rely on this app, I'd certainly upgrade. EDIT: I found another workaround, where I combined all of those decks into one mega-deck. Worked most of the time, and so far after using the advice below (smaller fonts), it's worked all the time.
I regard a free text quiz mode (such as StudyBlue has) as a basic requirement of a learning app. So this app doesn't meet my requirements.
Can't restore cards 3 days sold of work gone
Somehow my tablet (note 2014) overheats when I use thid app. The features are great though . I recommend it. Edit : my tablet does overheat from time to time, but it happens on a constant basis with flux cards. I guess its an hardware issue which is somehow always activated by fluxcards.
It has been more than a year that I am using this app to learn German. I have tried several flashcard apps, and this one is the best. I create cards in Quizlet and import them in FluxCards.
I've been looking for a good flash card app where you can draw both the answer and the question because a lot of symbols used for engineering are not in a keyboard and this does it perfectly. This has helped me a lot!

I wish that i didnt have to pay to use landscape and that you could use the flashcards the reverse way though. Do this and I'll give it 5 stars. Thanks!
Shows great potential. UI hard to understand at first, but ultimately a very useful app. Highly recommended. Integration works pretty well. Helped me ace a massive test by cramming for an hour and a half right before
I'm a visual learner so the icon interface makes the app. fun to use. I spent 4 hours researching flashcard apps. and this one had the most important features with a great interface. Bought your premium key for the added features and to support your work. Thanks. **Voice capability in the future would be nice
Don't bother trying to learn anything with Arabic script on these cards. I imported my Arabic cards from Quizlet (great feature by the way) to find that it was impossible to use this app with them. Not only does it separate all the characters out into their isolated form, it also reverses them so that you have to read the word from left to right!

One of the best apps I have used for flash card learning. I researched many before utilizing this app.
I like to take pictures with my phone for some of the answers, but for some reason, it keeps crashing when i take pictures. please fix this!
Don't know what's going on. Cannot upload my own flash card deck. UI is confusing. App is maimed without a subscription fee.
While I like the interface, the inability to use images without paying.. get this, not a one time charge to unlock premium features, but a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION?!?! I'm sorry, but a subscription fee doesn't make sense to me unless you're providing some sort of ongoing service. I pay a subscription for premium features, priority customer service, and larger data limits from Evernote and Dropbox, but FluxCards does not offer enough to justify a recurring monthly fee. Pros: interface works well with longer multi-step cards Cons: No web sync service (even with subscription) No images without monthly subscription No support for html or other tool to vary formatting
I use it every day to help me learn other languages. Had a few problems with the screen but they have since been fixed.
Good funcionality and great methodoligy for learning new languages
I'm happy with flux cards app.
Awesome app. I was looking for that long time. Thanks
But I can't get past the horrid UI. This app really needs to follow Android 4.X design guidelines. Encore, Study Blue have much better interfaces. Bubble eyes? REALLY?
I passed my iBT test 93 with it. I'm sure I could go even farther if I practiced my;-) Very thanks dear devloper:-)
Great design and study tools. Very good flash card interface. Makes learning fun and easy. Do not like the subscription, I would be more willing to pay a one time price.
It's crippled and fairly useless unless you subscribe to a pay service.
Maybe not the nicest looking flash card app, but very useful. Addictive, which is the best thing a study app can be...
I was looking for a simple easy to use flash card app for memorizing Scripture and this is perfect. You can do question then answer or answer then question mode or set a percentage mix which is excellent. The ones you know better less frequntly appear if you set it up that way.
For your certs
I use it to learn kanji:-)
Ugliest, least organized flashcard app I've used.

Helping me tremendously...also emailed a question and the response was immediate and helpful...thanks!!
very usefull app and works quite well
This app is great for memorization. It is very user friendly, and I love all the features! It sure keeps me motivated :-)
Looking forward for future updates from you. thank you for this great app. getting A's thanks to you.

I've used many apps but this is the only one that keeps working efficiently after years of drilling.
