[ROOT] Disable IPv6 Pro for Android
Actually it is a useful tool. I even bought it. Why 2 stars only? It consumes an awful lot of processor power and drains my battery. 5 stars if you solve that.
Note working lineage 7.1.1
Battery drain is worse than free version.
Hi Lennart, I am using the Pro version of Ipv6 and need to know if the toggle should be left where it is or does it need to be tapped to the right to disable Ipv6 protocol? Also what do all of the interfaces mean? There are so many and I really have no idea as to which one to use? Could you please send me a list of definitions for each interface. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely yours, Jeff Jones
Almost threw away my galaxy s6 since it was causing so many push problems with the ipv6 mode turning off push notifications after 20 mins of screen off. Is it possible to make a toggle to make all WiFi connections ipv6 off as well? It would save me the hassle of going into the app to turn off ipv6 status for future WiFi connections.
I just downloaded the pro version to have the ability to save my home network and not disable it manually. Unfortunately this doesn't work every time I have to disable it myself. It works for 1-2 hours and then I have to disable it once again.
Remember network don't work.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but had to for this. I've had a Chinese phone (Ulefone Power) for a good few months, and have never been able to get push notifications on WiFi (Mostly Google GCM push). I tried a few apps but did nothing, so then tried the free version of this...fixed it! My phone seems to need this app to be converted to a system app (to run properly in the background) and Tasker to set this app to run every time the WiFi network changes. Still, it did the job! Thanks a lot!
states wifi is disabled...
Runs every few seconds, 30+ root notifications in a minute. Update: Alternative mode seems to be working better.
Thanks. I used to miss a lot of mail, WhatsApp notifications when I am on WiFi and this app fixed it. Now I am getting notifications all the time. One issue I'd like to mention is that every now and then it keeps saying 'Ipv6 tool has been granted Superuser permissions for an interactive shell '. I don't want it to keep on saying it and work fine in the background. Anyway you can fix this? Thanks. Updated: Thanks for the reply and yeah I have done that.
=EDIT= after the update today, the bug they said they fixed, is still happening. It only happens though when the "remember network" box is checked. =END EDIT= This app has made my phone viable while at home and at my office. The only issue I have, is when connected to the WiFi, the app continuously requests root, displaying that it has root access keeping the screen active, killing my battery. It does not happen if you manually turn off the screen.
The root permission may is still happening in occasion. It happens sporadically when I have it remember network. The fix helped so it is not as constant, but it still happens in waves.
Since the new update it is causing my phone to crash or reset. No idea why but it does spam that it needs admin rights and eventually kills the phone. Hope this can be fixed soon.
Notifications work again. Thank you.
I was using the free version for a few months and decided to purchase the Pro version to support the developer and gain the "remeber network" feature. Now the app has constant root request notifications if I use the auto disable feature. Pretty dissappointed that I purchased the full version.
This is why Android is the best. The developers are on top of making their apps the best they can be.

I can actually get hangouts/Gmail notifications on wifi now!
Very happy to support a fine developer who has helped so many. Thank you for this app.
Drained my battery real quick. Not worth the convenience of the remember the network feature. Uninstalled.
Downloaded updated version today continually queries for root access every 30 secs or so. Got a refund, will try a different app.
It overheats my LG G3 when checked to 'remember network' and has constant superuser permissions granted pop-ups every 10 seconds or so. Refunded and reinstalled the free version, will retry pro when updated again.
I've noticed ever since I've been using this app I won't get texts. It took an uninstall of this app to fix
Keeps rebooting my phone when switching to wifi. Email request not answered.
