Noise Droid Editor was written as part of my Bachelor-Thesis from August to November 2011 at the Institute for Geoinformatics (ifgi) of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Germany). The topic of the Thesis was
"Noise mapping with ArcGIS Mobile for Android and ArcGIS Server".
As is apparent from the title, the target was the use of the new (and at this point in the beta stage) ArcGIS API for Android for accessing services on an ArcGIS Server. The services themselves should be in accordance with the 34th BImSchV (noise mapping regulation) and visualize the noise measurement data from the project "NoiseDroid".
