Over all a very useful app. Offline is great, would be better if we could turn off data usage manually to save power. Maps are very detailed from off-road trails down to the one way alleys of San Francisco. Directions are precise and on time to the meter of a turn. Absolutely amazing but still short 1 star because of the forced data usage and battery drain... I mean honestly when my phone dies I can't use the app anyway.

Amazing! I've found one or two minor bugs, and I've got a few suggestions for UI improvements, but nothing to take a star away. I thought it might be impossible to create routes on my 5.5 inch mobile and I'd have to do that on PC, but it works fine on the phone as well. I found the voice navigation really good with my headphones in, allowing me to enjoy the ride without having to keep stopping to check the map, and it correctly adjusted the route automatically when I decided to take a detour. On another bigger detour it failed to reroute, but kept me informed how far and in which direction the route lay, and it may have been my fault for using the point-to-point route style instead of circuit (this is worth noting when creating a route - don't give it a destination near where you start, just a start and make it a circuit, and it will join it up). I haven't found the social side of this much use yet, and wonder how popular it is round here, or maybe the app could make it easier to meet people in the local area.

Great concept and the trail maps are good. There's a bug that grays out the map apparently randomly while planning or recording a trip, and the recording has to be stopped and app rebooted when that happens.

Doesn't cover my region Jakarta, Indonesia. Because of that, My Wahoo Elemnt won't sync the route that i created in Komoot, because Elemnt only sync with unlocked region, maybe will use it again after Komoot expand the region to the SEA. Thank for the respons.

Great App. Used it to export a well used route via a GPX file for a London to Brighton ride and it worked perfectly for me as a turn by turn aid. If I buy the global package however, does it last a year or forever? Many thanks, Ollie

Y70%
by Y####:

I bought the full global maps package to use the App offline. Unfortunatelly my region is not covered. The information in the App and site did not mention that. I asked for support and nothing happened. No answer... I just want my money back... thanks if someone can help me...

No names of anything on the map? I'm not a topographer. I can't recognize points by their formations. Useless.

Awesome app!! Easy to use, concise, effective, best cycling/map app I've found so far.

X70%
by X####:

Why does the app suggest hiking routes along roads instead of waypoint to waypoint ? It seems to want to stick to main roads even when "hiking" mode is selected. Can I plan a route where part of it is off track ?

Y70%

Shows ads as push notification. Absolute no go!

I want a straight line navigation so I can have fun navigating my own route, not being hand held like a child. Please add this option with purely a direction arrow with compass. Maps are from 1800.

Y70%
by Y####:

Click and drag points would enable quicker route planning over the map. The maps themselves look like copies from an old A to Z and the cheek of this company for charging abhorrent amount for navigation, when Google offers it for free (as do others) is a disgrace. Once point to point route planning comes to Google maps, it will spell the end for your horrible little app.

W70%

It's great. Unfortunatelly even paid, it doesn't offer any routs or trips in my area-uk. Very disappointing. The navigation is not adjusted to moving direction but only shows plan view.

A solid app but yet another update with missing feature of current/cumulative elevation there on recording dashboard. And no, it's not super complicated since the speed is calculated the same nonperfect inaccurate way thru GPS sensor and it's more-less acceptable. So, bring it up!! FYI, for MTBikers estimated stamina left is very related to cumulative elevation and it's a crucial info that been missing out here.

I use this app in Thailand. Pity, the map is in Thai language, only. If in English, I should give 5 rates

One of my favorite apps for tracking bike rides. It would be great to allow crowd-sourced updates similar to Waze that allow notifications to other riders about issues on a given routes.

App is ok, and actually has step by step navi, but led me to a dead end on my way to work. I wouldn't trust the routes if you are navigating through unfamiliar areas. Would like the option of adjusting preplanned routes if I know they are inaccurate. The nav function is cool, but needs a way for the user to adjust the route.

Please i have a glitch! Or a bug! ..... I am planing a big trip like 5000km+, and while i add multiple waypoints, occasionally the map changes to random place and zooms in to the max.... its verry annoying, then i have to zoom out and find my place again. I hope you can fix it please. I LOVE YOUR APP, keep up the good work

Great app and easy to use. All it needs now is a way for gear fit 2 to connect to it so it can also show my heart rate.

Drains my battery really fast and doesn't provide any information on my gear s3. All gauges show 0 all the time

Starts upselling spam even BEFORE email activation, and even if you opted out at registration. This is not the law in Germany and EU! Aggressive marketing is the best way to keep adopters away.

They start spam emailing you as soon as you install it. What a dirty thing to do. Beware.

Excellent route planner. Easier to use than other popular cycle apps. Lets you plan the route on your phone. No need to go premium if you want to use it on the trail without internet access. Your home area is free and you can buy other regions if you want. One thing that could be improved is pronunciation of non-English street names, but overall I'm very impressed after trying a few similar apps.

B70%
by B####:

Best of its kind. Compared to gmaps you can edit routes in the app itself, paths are rated for use cases by the community, navigate imported maps, get a guide back on your route, not too intrusive, first regiin is free, for the rest you need bandwidth. You have to plan on paths though, unlike viewranger.

Y70%
by Y####:

Very easy to use and offers a simple way to plan routes on the mobile phone. I would like if I could also export routes to GPX Files.

Y70%

Really detailed maps, and very intuitive interface when planning routes. Brilliant.

M70%

First trial on test route. The need to add markers/way points on cycle routes is fine, but it won't allow you to finish the circular route by adding your home destination. When attemping to add the last Home/back to start marker, it reverses the direction and deletes the first few way points on the outward trip, and thus you don't have a circular route ending. So all in all useless, if you can't retain your circuit direction back to the start. Poor quality map definition. I'll go back to google for now.

This app have the best intent but is lack of map accuracy. For instance, Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques are not british islands, they are United States of America's Islands. Also, the names are not present...

Just right for hobby cycling rides. Perfect route planning and directions clear and easy to follow on unknown routes. Keeps records of rides. Love it so far.

Found the way to import .Gpx through komoot web site. Nice app. Will try to use it more often

Update... Still love this app.. Lots of choice on routes.. on thing I would like to see is higher resolution maps.. The UK map is not that great when you zoom in of you have a route planned.. It's difficult to see if you are being taken on a road of track sometimes.. Some have commented that they should not charge for some of the content, map changes etc. Personally I do not see an issue with it. The development team that are putting time and I assume money into this need to make something somewhere to make it worthwhile continuing developing it. I say carry on!! Happy to pay something of the app gets better!! Been out using it today and really think it's a good all round app... My go to cycle nav app right now. Keep it up. Well done.

Support doesn't answer, figured out (by myself) i had logged in with different email accounts because of a "Login with Facebook"button . Other than that (annoying enough, when you use it for your job!) it's been a great, super useful app!!!
