huerray! Philips Hue and LIFX for Android
Didn't detect my only LIFX bulb. Other apps (Music Blitza, Light DJ, and the official LIFX app detect it without problems.
App won't detect my lights =(
You need to have instructions so we understand the options. Any chance of getting instructions?
Used to work, now it won't connect. Every other app connects.
Cannot connect
Simple to use, does what it says.
Awesome
Now my light only connects about 10% of the time which seriously PISSES ME OFF especially since I paid for the app... the update made connection problems MUCH WORSE
Tried installing and uninstalling it multiple times across two seperate Galaxy S7 Edge devices, same issue. Other apps can see and link the bridge fine.
I'm sure Johannes is working on fixing the app, but currently it will not connect to any bridge that has been updated to Hue 2.0. EDIT: Clearing data allowed me to attempt to connect to the bridge. After pressing the button on the bridge to connect the app did not connect, waited 20 minutes to be sure. Don't know if it's my bridge, my LG V10, or the app that is making it fail.
I got this app to try out the candle effects for my Philips Hue bulbs, but animations along with some other features are behind a pay wall. I don't mind paying for these features but I'd like to try them out first to see if they work.
Best app for lifx bulbs. Do Wish there was more animations by default, making animations is time consuming.
Needs an update, and ability to reconnect it bridge after fw update. Time to update it or delete it, sad to say I payed for it.
It just does not work well. It is annoying as it has potential. I wish I could get a refund. Not worth anything. I'm using it with three Lifx bulbs.
Amazing! The scenes work beautifully and the animations are suberb! The music sync is much better than the one is the official Lifx app and the developer support is strong! Overall an amazingly well thought out app!
Used to use this all the time. No longer works, can't find lights.
Works ok, but crashes during music mode. Please fix.
This app is fantastic, though the lack of Android Wear support for the past two years has me constantly switching to other apps. Bright for Philips Hue just came out and has a great Android Wear companion app for those looking.

Really buggy and most features don't work well. Plus a very bad UI.
Animations that I create don't properly save the colors. Decent app otherwise.
After bridge firmware update this app can't control my Philips lights anymore. Looks like it can't find the bridge.

Can't even find bridge despite the fact that I'm in the room with it. Latest hue update broke it.
I just purchased the pro version so I could use nfc and its seems to have a bug, the developer was helpful and said there will be a new release down the road to fix that... If you are picking this up for nfc like I was then pass for now, otherwise its a good app
Love the framework of this app. It does need further polishing, but I'm looking forward to future updates from the developer. I have both hue and LIFX in my home and so this is the perfect solution.
Don't pay to upgrade for music features, it just crashes. Can't get a refund because you upgrade through app.
Still not working after update, can't connect to the bridge.
Let you do more with Hue than the Phillips app , and that is the free version.
No connection
First off, this is a good app. It's got the latest material interface, and it's beautiful. Decent set of features too: scenes, animations, alarms, NFC, etc. Definitely room for improvement, though. It can be tedious to use, since it takes too many taps to do things (e.g. on the lights page, you have to tap each light individually to adjust, instead of having sliders all right there). And some fine adjustment would be nice, like in Hue Pro, where you can enter exact brightness or hue values if you want.
This app comes to a screeching halt on my LG G5. Worked okay on my G4 previously. I can't figure out what's wrong. Hopefully an update will fix it?
A definite improvement over the stock hue app. Killer feature for me is the sunrise simulator alarm. One nice-to-have would be the ability to reorder scenes / animations. However, it often loses the connection to one or multiple bulbs, which the stock app does not. Wenn das nicht wäre, gäbe ich gerne 5 Sterne!
Unfortunately it won't even detect my LIFX lights.
Doesnt work with hue2 update
Awesome
Todays update has made this app not even open....
The NFC tag feature does not work unless the app is already open on my phone. What's the point of that? I just want to tap my phone to the tag to turn on my lights; if I had to flip through the app I would just press the icon to turn them on
Add support to program the dimmer (all4hue does a decent job at this) and I won't have any need for any other app. Edit: It really needs a sync with Gdrive or backup feature though. Is this planned?
