Subscribers of our "Unlimited Sat" plans are able to locate (almost) any active vessel in the world through satellite AIS, while standard plans offer near-shore coverage only. I should never have downloaded this P.O.S.... First, they would not show me anything except Passenger ships and Pleasure craft unless I paid them money. So, I decide 'what the hay, give it a shot' so I upgraded to Unlimited. For $89.00. Per month. It goes through, the app says I have that subscription active, however, after that all I could see was Channel Markers. CHANNEL MARKERS!!! That is NOT what I paid $89.00 for! MarineTraffic only costs $4.59 for the app and it works.

Nothing showing in almost all of the Philippines. Zero ships in subic bay? Zero in manila? Really? Im looking at 5 right now out my bay bacony (subic). Just like 90% of the other AIS apps. Have tried 10 diff apps now. Findship WAS the ONLY one that was accurate. Now up with update ...sadly nothing.

According to this app, no ships ever move far from a harbour, and some harbours have no traffic at all. This allegedly improves if you subscribe but I won't pay recurring fees for something of mere curiosity.
