Welcome to TvRecorder!
TvRecorder is a client/server application that allows users to record tv
programs using a DVB-(C|S|T) receiver. Therefore, TvRecorder makes use of
third party software, currently MPlayer, to dump DVB streams to hard disk.
The server behaves as a REST service and provides different methods for adding/removing jobs and retrieving a tv program guide information.
This android client makes use of these REST services. Currently, there are menus to
* add record jobs manually by setting start and end date and a channel
* add record jobs by selecting tv shows in a TV program guide
* display TV program guides of supported channels
* display and remove queued record jobs
* search for TV shows based on a text search
NOTE: TvRecorder is Free Software and is licensed under GNU General Public License (>= v3).
