TouchDAW for Android
I love thisapp, but let's talk about this closed features thing. All I need is a page where I can map all my shortcut keys. How much will this cost me? Let's talk money here
The apps nice espec the mpc pads...but i have a problem connecting daw an midi...think I need to reinstall the app coz ive lost some settings somewhere...it says android 6 only has 1 port when its booting, i can use the connection for midi or daw but not both...i dont want charging twice if i uninstall an reinstall... i just need a fix. HELP
When I press on the keys it opens random menus, I want a refund
Great App!!! I use Ableton live 9 on my windows PC and rtpmidi to connect this app so it could act as a Midi controller, but there a latency about 1ms to 4ms it will noticeable when you play the drumpad. Overall this is so cool recommend for android user. I just hope that the next update there is a new skin???????????????? Great job Humatic!!!
This is the best dollar value of any app ever for professional engineers. It properly emulates the Mackie Control protocol for Android devices. The pseudo hardware option is very visually appealing. It just works flawlessly (Win 10 pro 64 bit - Cubase 9 Pro). I have replaced 2 hardware control surface with 3 Android tablets and TouchDaw. Everything works as expected... 16 channels showing on tablets 1 and 2 (unlimited faders via bank buttons) and a large transport on tablet 3... all tablets in portrait mode. The midi mode (a separate function) accesses the generic remote in Cubase and controls the studio module... a simple push of the "arrow" button and it's a totally different controller. You can edit midi XML files to change button names if desired. Everything has been extremely well designed by an obviously knowledgeable programmer(s) who understand the purpose of a real world controller... not a just a "toy" app. Unbelievable value for what they are charging. Think about this: buy a large Android tablet (Galaxy View, Hp Slate 20, Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 Pro, etc) used for approx $200, pay less than $6.00 for Touch daw and you actually have a system that will rival, the Slate system costing 6 times that amount. If you've ever wanted an excellent control surface for your daw of choice, this will definitely fit the bill. If you already have an Android tablet, spend a couple of dollars and take your time learning what this app can do. You will not regret it. I have no affiliation with Humatic whatsoever. I happen to believe wholeheartedly in this app.
Hi any chance you could change the colour of the led fader light from Orange to lime green please or add a color options maybe. Great app btw thank you.
I would highly recommend this app, very quick to set up (only took a couple of minutes) works exactly as it says. Fully fuctional, all faders work perfectly, track labelling works and all with no latency issues
I tried the demo version months ago... and it worked well.... until i bought the full version (yesterday)... cant scroll to all of the tracks... arrows and double arrow buttons dont work... with the DAW controller i can only control the last 4 channel on my mix. So whats the point using touchDAW if it cant scroll to all of my channel strips??? im running it on a galaxy tab A and using logic pro... 5 stars for the fix..
Just when everything was working perfectly, the mnet midi hub stopped working so now I can't get to use it with my mac
I can't use the app with the message "This beta build is over the deadline and will now exit"
Change the icon. I cant see it on my homescreen.
Any chance I could get a touchDAW profile for FL Studio?
It's not connecting to my daw studio one prime
Fantastic app for controlling PreSonus Studio One 3.5 Huge help controlling DAW from behind the drums
Good app and I liked it
working good.
There are problems...the app decided out would be awesome to make the play, stop and record buttons make awful noise. I can't even use it now. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know
This control surface has worked perfectly on my W10 PC running Tracktion 5. I followed the instructions and used rtpMIDI to connect to the DAW. I use a cheapo Dragon X10 tablet and now I have a wireless control surface. Too cool for words. Thanks guys.
After some configuring on the user end, reading, & re-reading the instructions on the website, it now works seamlessly with my ProTools rig, Korg boards and mixing console. =Happy Mixing ????
Difficult set up, sometimes it connects sometimes it won't. When it does it's great, but even following the step by step instructions it may not. For some reason when the app opens it shuts off WiFi? Have to restart WiFi every time. The improved GUI is nice, but set up needs work.
This is a great app for controlling Pro Tools from my android tablet. The only issue I had was getting the setup right. You have to download and install rtp_midi, and you must have apple bonjour installed on your computer as well. The best advice I can give is to follow the setup instructions in the quickstart guide TO THE LETTER. Every step must be done exactly as described. I'm not a computer genius, but I'm very familiar with networking, and systems operations, and it took me several hours (and lots of cursing) to finally get this app to work. But, once I got it running I was very pleased. For those of you who don't own an iPad (for Pro Tools Remote Control) this is an awesome alternative. I would give it 5 stars, except for the incredibly difficult setup.
Not good with FL studio 12. Transports contols work but the master fader does not operate the master fader on the mixer in FL. It needs a configuration in settings for using with FL studio 12. Also, UI started with classic looking mixer on first use but then changed to pseudo. It won't change back even tho it'set to classic.
One request to developer. Please add separate Transport page, like it is in phone mode, with big or huge buttons available for tablet mode. This will allow us to easily punch record, stop, rewind, play buttons etc in recording room when you hold instrument and try to concentrate on music instead of finding and not miss punching tiny button on a screen. That will be A+ app. Thank you very much in advance.
Awesome! Just what I needed. Using on my tablet, I'm able to control my DAW while sitting behind my drum kit. Works great and keeps me from running back and forth. Kudos to the dev.
I use to control Ableton Live while sat at my drum kit controlling mixing, recording and play back. The perfect app I was looking for
Very nice look and feel. Really good usability even on a smartphone.
Perfect! The only issue is the reconnection every new sessions.
High quality app, no bugs found.
Great value
Works perfectly with REAPER. Can map the buttons to anything but wish you could rename the buttons as it would be great to use your own favourit shortcuts. Love the new look.
Takes forever to setup- once it works, it stops working as it pleases.
This is one great digital recording tool. It really makes my recoding session work-flow that much more earlier. Thank you developers for making this app/tool. I'm very thankful and joyful and most of all keep up the great work! :)
Just what I needed for my DAW and some live work. My phone is just large enough to allow the tablet layout in landscape. I love it. Latest update appears to have aligned the scribble strip divider lines, thumbs up there. Also so far seems to be a little more stable overall. I use a multicast connection into a system running Digital Performer, which for me is without question far superior to RTP.
I got it to work after watching multiple videos on youtube. The setup isn't that easy. But it does seems easier then touch osc. But after connecting to reaper it stop working after reloading a session. I tried for your reinstall everything and it still doesn't work. When it was connected it was very limited. The only pro I could see from owning this is when multitrack recording because the limitations of what you can do your pretty much stuck with leveling each track volume, pan, mute, solo, and arm.
Remember, this only works as well as the device you use it on...but is nearly flawless in and of itself. Aside from that...NOTHING ELSE OUT THERE BEATS THE PRICE!! DON'T COMPLAIN!!
I use Touch Daw along with my analog summing unit and it is a dream. No need to buy a clunky console... this gets the job done! My hybrid setup is complete. If only they could figure out how to control my waves plugins from touch daw. Then I would be set!
Works perfectly with REAPER. Can map the buttons to anything but wish you could rename the buttons as it would be great to use your own favourit shortcuts. Love the new look.
Great value for money. I would love to see better integration with Pro Tools (12 here) specially when it comes to plugins selection and tweaking. Maybe in depth tutorial for each DAW.
Works perfectly with Reaper and others. Well designed and convenient to use, easy to set up

I tested with the FREE Version and it Worked on my samsung Galaxy note 8 and Bitwig Studio 2.2 on a i7 Intel PC Laptop .. Since I update to the Paid Version it keeps Infinitely Scrolling the Volume Automatically and I cant figure out how to Stop it.... Which makes it unusable!!
