Slider Widget - Volumes for Android
Very handy. This widget includes not just the audio settings (ringer, alarm, volume, notifications, etc.) but also the screen brightness. You can use Slider Widget to change the settings, but you have to change one at a time. To get around this, I use an app (Audio Profiles) that lets me set up profiles. I still use Slider Widget to see where everything is set. This works in Lollipop.
Very handy way to change volumes and brightness of the phone. I have an idea for a great feature some day: to be able to set a timer when you turn your volume off. How many times have we missed calls because we forgot to turn it back on after a movie or show?
I was hoping this app will allow me to mute notifications and ringtones while allowing me to unmute the media volume. Unfortunately with he latest Android 7 update this is no longer available, and this app did not overwrite that, which renders it useless for me. However it seems designed well and the controls are good.
FANTASTIC! ???? Exactly what I was after to change ⏰ alarm vol. back up at bed time -as all other ways play loud tone to set. Simple yet effective (hate side buttons...????) Great looking lil' widget, customizable & easy to use. 5★ Don't be put off by the 2013 update (however odd). Functions perfectly well as is. ????Thanks to Dev's, you have improved my life! ????
I was looking for a widget which controls phone volume directly from home screen as using volume buttons was quite problematic due to its positions. Slider volume widget has helped solve the problem. Lovely widget. Only one question I would like to ask, where is vibrate only or vibrate also mode in this widget. Plz help
If i wanna adjust volume of video player like Youtube, i've to go to homescreen first. Waste much times. I'll rate 5 star if u add a shortcut to status bar notification.
One of my favorite widgets. It's been around forever, and even with newer Android versions adding a similar option when you change volume, I always go home and check media or alarm volume when I need to. Every billion years it doesn't update the volume and shows the volume from the last time I used it, but I haven't had that problem on my new phone. EDIT: doesn't update after unplugging headphones
Love this widget, lets me control all my volumes independently without having to go into volume control or anything like that. My biggest "issue" is that I wish the background setting was not just on or transparent. I would love some inbetween transparency seting as it would just make it easier to fit in with whatever background or theme I happen to be using at the time.
Finally my 2nd Gen Moto X is complete without rooting it. Still doing that.. I've only had it a few days. Took forever. Anyway you are the best.. NOW i can delete the few that didn't quite measure up. This has separate controls that are needed very much.. Hope it works when the L Update comes.
The brightness setting reported by Slider Widget does not match the value reported by my phone's own internal brightness setting. Example, my LG G3 (Android 5.0 Lollipop) reports that brightness is set at a value of 45%, but Slider Widgets shows a value of 51%. Why the difference? I can't tell for the other settings as my phone reports in a different way to Slider Widget.
One of my most used widgets. Definitely worth the download. Rather than having to open settings and then going to sound then volume you've got all your sliders available at one touch on the home screen. Nice to see there's no ridiculous permissions. Minus one star only because the icons are slightly pixelated when you view on a full HD screen.

For some reason the gray background makes the icons look low res and blurry. When I switch to a transparent background they look a bit sharper. Weird but I like them that way. The colors are nice as well. Also the ringer volume and notifications are tied to each other and the system sounds. I'm not sure if that's a problem with the widget or Lollipop, but I'm reasonably sure they shouldn't be like that.
I'm a stage manager and it's useful because I can make sure that NOTHING on my phone will make noise, but still keep it on for quick access in case of emergencies. The one downside is that the toggle buttons do not work on my phone.
I've been looking for a way to adjust volume controls on my HTC One without the annoying volume "preview" that plays. This app has a nice checkbox that allows you to disable it when using the widget to control the volumes. It also has a handy toggle function that lets you mute and unmute each control quickly. This will make adjusting my phone's volume a lot less noisy in quiet environments (like when I'm in bed while my SO is trying to sleep).
This is actually an app that I find myself using. I have many tools on my phone. Many are just basically decoration. This one is useful tho, I don't have to go into settings and each function, changing volume, it's all there ready for me to adjust it as needed.

I needed some app that will allow me to set silent/meeting mode quickly, it allows me do via the double click. However I am unable to set it at the first attempt. it'ld be really great if a separate button is provided for that purpose or the double touch sensitivity is correctly adjusted.
I have been using this app for a short while and it is very easy to use and good customisation options exist and easy to use. I installed it to have the ringing volume in my sight as sometimes I leave it set too low and consequently missing calls. Hope this widget will help.
The app does what it says - after downloading, it took awhile to show up in the widgets, but when it did it worked great. A feature I'd like to see is toggling screen rotation, other than that, I couldn't be happier with it!
I'd it didn't rest to the default color and control panel EVERY TIME I reboot my friggin phone. I'm about to just delete it and find something else that Stays the way I set it. Worked fine on my N3 for ages. Complete waste on the N4 apparently.
Works, looks good enough for me. Always kinda hated having so many different volume mixers and only 2 buttons that control volume on the side of my phone and default to ringer volume. With this widget I can see what all my levels are at and change them individually.
The handiest widget on the market. Would give 5 stars if they were HD and customisable, transparency and colours at least. Also if the system was changed to notifications as mentioned earlier. Could be a paid version, I'd gladly pay for a great widget. Keep up the good work.
No more switching profiles, a touch an you can adjust every volume you need plus the screen brightness. I gave it on my home page and is one of the most used apps of my phone.
App works well, but causes severe lag on lollipop for some reason. Took me a week to figure out that this is what was causing severe performance issues with the launcher.
You can only use the widgets exactly as they make them, so for instance if you want to just control volume, you must use the 4x1 widget with three other redundant functions that you don't want (like ringer volume... on a tablet...?) instead of customizing the 1x1 widget. Add customizable widget function and location/order in the widget and this app would be useful.
The 4x1 widget size doesn't actually take up the whole space which is annoying. It looks disproportional on my screen.

I wouldn't be without it. The only slight annoyance is switching on the GPS only takes you to the Settings menu and then you have to slide the on switch again. Its a bit fiddly when you need to it quickly for example when driving.
There was something wrong with my phone and I couldn't take the music without head speakers, I tried downloading apps to fix but none of them worked, and this app is one of the 7 apps that I've download.
After I installed this app and adjusted volumes,I noticed I was missing calls as it had muted everything. Even after using the app to max out all the sliders, I was still not getting call tones or message alerts.
I have the Xperia z3v and didn't have any problems before the lollipop update. Now, phone will never go into silent mode and the level is never correct on the widget. Also, the phone volume would control notifications when I turned it up or down, now it's independent. I thought this was a useful feature, as when I needed to silence my phone, I could just turn down one volume. Now, I have to do two.
I got this app because my tapet has. A low volume when I turn it all up but when I went in play store I look at this cool. App when I download it it really make my tapet louder so if your phone is not louder then get this app and it will make your phone or tapet work
Certainly allows you to see & tweak volume levels. However desperately needs a "drag" mode. Currently you have to click & then drag a fiddly slider. Would be so much more usable if you could just touch a toggle & drag up & down to change volume.
The most aggravating thing about the recent android updates are the elimination of the screen brightness and notification toggling from the drop down menu. I need an app that allows me to toggle on or off ringtone volume, notification volume, media volume and system volume. This app doesn't give the option to toggle notification volume specifically while leaving ringtone untouched. Would otherwise be a great app. /edit. I found that by messing with the settings I was able to separately toggle notification.
Definitely one of the more useful widgets out there. Only thing, I wish it would support higher screen resolutions. It looks a little stretched on the DNA compared to stock widgets...
Downloaded to a Motorola Droid Maxx. All that shows is a page describing the last updates. Couldn't get out of that page unless I used my Home key.
Best option so far for dealing with lollipop, but could use making a button for calls and notifications, and ability to put it in notifications menu (like powerful control)
The widget does it's job perfectly, the only thing I'd like is an option for bigger size of the widget icons, as they really look small on tablet. Double-click for min/max toggle is also a neat feature, though it would be great if it would be min/previous setting (something like a mute option).

Works great on Nexus 7, OS 5.0.0. Also on Samsung Galaxy S5, OS 4.4.2. Probably works perfectly on other platforms too. Be sure to put it on the home / display screen as a Widget not as an App or it will be hard to set up. This problem is intrinsic to the operating systems and not a shortcoming of this Widget, which I highly recommend. Easy to set up and easy to use.
