My trip – personal travel details
With "My trip" you can get all the details about departure and arrival times, transfers, real-time information and alternative connections at a glance. Push notifications can provide you with exact information you about your departure, transfer and arrival if required. All of this information is also available on the Android Wear.
Delay notification
If you register for delay notifications for a connection before you travel, you will be informed about any schedule alterations, delays or track changes by e-mail or push notification. For regular connections, you can also select days of the week and a notification period. The notification service is activated automatically when you make a booking.
Transport association tickets – information and tickets for regional and local transport
Information about regional and local transport connections throughout Germany, e.g. for U-Bahn trains, buses and trams. My DB Navigator also has mobile phone tickets for AVV (Augsburg), MVV (Munich), SH-fares (Schleswig-Holstein), VBB (Berlin-Brandenburg), VGN (Nuremberg), VRN (Rhine-Neckar), VRR (Rhine-Ruhr), VRS (Rhine-Sieg), VVS (Stuttgart), VMT (Central Thuringia), Westphalia-fares. And the service is being expanded further.
Save money with the saver fare finder
Use the saver fare finder if you really want to economise when you travel. Select your date of travel and it provides you with an overview of all available long-distance saver fares.
Favourites – getting you there faster
You can use the asterisk function in travel information to save frequently used departure and destination locations, connections – also with specified times – and transport association tickets as favourites. Using this function, you can find and book these connections more quickly in the menu.
Select and reserve a particular seat
When you make a booking, the graphic seat reservation provides an overview of available seats on the train and lets you select the seat you wish to reserve.
Change or cancel a booking – now also on the go
You can cancel and rebook mobile phone tickets directly in DB Navigator on the usual terms.
Find the nearest stop
The maps function enables you to quickly get your bearings and locate nearby bus stops, train stations and pick-up points for Flinkster and Call a Bike. Select the start or end of your journey and the function also shows you the route by transport or on foot.
Book Call a Bike and Flinkster more quickly
Why not use the Flinkster carsharing service or Call a Bike to get to and from the station? Just click an icon on the map, select your vehicle or bike, and you can continue the Flinkster or Call a Bike booking process directly in the app.

App tut was sie tun soll: Auskunft über den Schienenverkehr geben. Leider gibt sie keine Auskunft wenn Ortungsdienste aktiviert sind, was manchen bestimmt schon viel Zeit und Nerv gekostet hat.

Die App ist an sich gut. Aber man könnte auch gerne dazu schreiben ob der Bus an dem Tag ausfällt, weil man sonst da steht und nicht weiß wie man weg kommt, um pünktlich zum Termin zu kommen.

Wie so vieles bei der Deutschen Bahn, die App ist eher unübersichtlich gestaltet und sie kostet sehr sehr viel Geduld. Aber bekanntes Spiel der DB, man hat ja leider so wenig Alternativen in Deutschland und kann Sie nur schwer boykottierten. Es ist unmöglich über das Push Tan Verfahren eine Buchung in der DB-App durchzu führen, sobald die Banking App aufgerufen wird, stürzt die DB-App ab. Benutzte die App schon seit Monaten und das Problem besteht forlaufend. Ein Paradebeispiel des DB-Sevice, traurigerweise eines der größten deutschen Unternehmen, sofern man dieses Wort so benutzten darf...

Funktioniert ganz gut, wenn die elendigen funklöcher eine benutzung nicht immer wieder verhindern. Ein cachen der verbindungen für offline nutzung währe ganz gut. Was überhaupt keinen sinn macht, ist dass die echtzeit informationen eine startzeit vor reisebgeinn benötigen. Meißtens braucht man WÄHREND es probleme gibt erst die informationen. Das laden der maps-karte müsste bei langsamer verbindung unterbunden werden können, da sonst eine benutzung minutenlang nicht möglich ist

Cannot buy tickets for a train while waiting for it at the track. It refuses, saying there was too little time left to complete the process. I missed the train because I had to run to the ticket machine, which had a long queue. But of course I could buy a ticket there. The ticket I wanted was not even bound to that train. Unbelievable.

Usable, E tickets work fine except for bonus rides. Doesn't automatically load tickets. Menu navigation is terribly impractical and not getting better. The card-in-app is a bad joke, conductors insist on seeing the physical card. When you buy a full priced flex ticket, you are still required to show an ID. What for?

Prima! Macht genau das wofür man es benötigt. Jedoch fehlt der App im Jahr 2017 noch etwas Smartness. Es wäre nützlich z.B. wenn die App mit Google Home kompatibel wäre und auf Fragen bezügl. der nächsten Bahn antworten könnte, mir die App zu bestimmten Zeiten den nächsten Bus anzeigt, oder einen eigenen smarten Wecker einbauen würde.

Seit neustem ist es nicht möglich die Busfahrpläne der VRR mit in die Navigation einzubinden. Dies schränkt leider den Nutzen der App erheblich bei. Es wird Fehler H890 angezeigt. Hoffe, dass dies wieder behoben werden kann.

You can have your ticket with you in the app, and as well have your bahncard stored but when the ticket gets scanned, you need to manually switch to the Bahncard and have it scanned too, would be nice to not have this extra step.

Sucht selbst Straßenbahn und Busverbindungen zuverlässiger als die App der lokalen Nahverkehrsgesellschaft. Handy Tickets für ICE Reisen sind das Sahnehäubchen. Bin immer noch verblüfft, weil die Deutsche Bahn so eine gute App rausgebracht, und seit Jahren nicht versaut hat.

Not only does this app crash constantly but good luck using a foreign (in our case American) credit card. After a MasterCard and 3 Visas we finally got one to work (cc company confirmed there were no attempts to charge the card).

Does not give me option to buy ticket to final destination (within Hamburg). Had to find out manually what last supported stop was. Otherwise no buying option at all. Did not help in the end. "booking not possible" error message with no further explanation. Wanted to check if there is a problem with my credit card, but there is no way to change your credit card information in the app. Thanks, Germany's biggest railroad company obviously did not arrive in the 21st century yet. :-/ you suck. Big times.

Alles in allem gute App. Allerdings sollten bei einer geänderten Wagenreihung die richtige und nicht die alte angezeigt werden. Außerdem ist das Intervall für die Displayhelligkeit beim scannen von Tickets etwas zu kurz.
