ESCRS 2015 for Android
As usual, our extensive scientific programme is aimed at cataract and refractive surgeons of all levels of experience, and includes numerous expert symposia and nearly 200 instructional and surgical skills training courses. We are also pleased to continue with several new and interesting session formats introduced in recent years, designed to further enhance your experience at the Congress.
The new ‘Poster Village’ introduced last year is in place once again. This is a highly interactive area where papers are presented by the authors in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. We continue to expand the wetlab programme as demand increases, and are delighted to have added new ‘Lens Explantation’ courses to the already large programme. Tuesday sees the first ever Presbyopia Day take place. The day includes the Presbyopia Workshop, a Main Symposium on the subject of Treating Presbyopia, free paper sessions and instructional courses. On Wednesday morning we are delighted to repeat the ‘Best of the Best’ review session which was so well received last year. The session will take a look at some of the most interesting ideas that will emerge over the course of this exciting Congress, and is the perfect way to round off your week here in Barcelona.
hope you will find this Congress rewarding and enjoy your time in Barcelona. I look forward to meeting as many colleagues as possible over the course of the next five days. Have a nice meeting!
