Mit der Radroute „Steine und Mehr“ wird die „Stein-alte“ Kultur- und Abbaulandschaft im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes
„erfahrbar“ gemacht.

Mit der Radroute „Steine und Mehr“ kann die Kultur und Abbaulandschaft erkundet werden. An insgesamt 33 Stationen erhalten die Besucher informative Hinweise. Dabei geht es um ein „Öffnen der Augen“ für die historisch
gewachsene Kulturlandschaft, ausgehend von einer frühen Besiedlung, der Nutzung fruchtbarer Böden sowie
die Gewinnung und Verarbeitung von Bodenschätzen, „Schärfen der Sinne“ für die erdgeschichtliche, geologische
Basis der Topographie und Landschaftsstruktur sowie der Naturphänomene des Raumes, „Verstehen“ der
Entwicklung, der Dimensionen und der Wirkungen des Steinabbaus in der Region, „Kennenlernen“ des Baustoffs
Grünsandstein bzw. Grünkalkstein, „Bewundern“ der regionalen Baukultur sowie der vielfältigen Kunstobjekte
und zuletzt um „Ruhe und Besinnung“ in dörflicher Idylle.

Die App informiert über das Projekt. Sie präsentiert das Steine und Mehr Wegenetz und ausgewählte Tourenvorschläge. Sie zeigt die Sehenswürdigkeiten am Wegesrand. Das alles auf der Karte sowie in Text und Bild.

Die App errechnet auf Radwegen eine Route vom persönlichen Aufenthaltsort zu POIs und zu Touren. Bei Bedarf führt sie unterwegs mit Abbiegehinweisen. The cycling route "Stones and More" is the "Stone-old" culture and mining landscape in literally
