Der Tandem TourGuide bietet multimediale Radtouren im Kreis Soest. Er wurde im Rahmen des Projekts „Guide4Blind – Neue Wege für und mit dem Tourismus auch für blinde und sehbehinderte Menschen“ speziell auf diese Personengruppe ausgerichtet. Der Tandem TourGuide bietet vorgefertigte Themenrouten. Er informiert über die Wegstrecke sowie über die Sehenswürdigkeiten am Wegesrand. Für die Nutzung durch Blinde und Sehbehinderte sind alle hinterlegten Informationen über Voice Over (z.B. TalkBack) zugänglich.

Im Tourmodus wird durch den integrierten Annäherungsalarm der hinten sitzende Beifahrer als „Co-Pilot“ in der Lage sein, dem „Piloten“ Anweisungen zur Navigation und insbesondere Informationen über kulturelle, historische und landschaftlich interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten zu geben oder über die nächstgelegenen sanitären Einrichtungen oder Bushaltestellen zu informieren. Eine innovative Anpeilhilfe unterstützt den Nutzer bei der Orientierung und bei der Navigation auf den letzten Metern vor Ort.
