Would give four stars, but with ads??? Got a large external SD card, but cannot use it with this app. Allows conversion to MP3, but original WAV source disappears. Cannot save to MP3 automatically.

I just recorded me making stupid noises and played it back I couldn't stop laughing but its still a great simple app with good sound quality

Tried it twice today. Recorded two voice mails & attached to Gmail outgoing email. Both emails were delivered but no attachments. Have no problem with other apps attachments. Recording works great but I need to be able to attach to an email thus my low rating.

Installed and uninstalled 3 times. It would start up but never recorded.

Works fine on Samsung Intercept. Wav. To mp3 a must to reduce file size.

It's simple and it let's you pause and restart records more than 1 min. Ask to set as ringtone, or share this is all I need

I downloaded this app to record class lectures. The app loaded and I began recording the lecture. To my utter horror I found at the conclusion of the most beautiful lecture I have ever attended that the app did not record sound in the very same manner other reviews have described. My only suggestion: Read app reviews and test out the app before putting it to use.

Permissions from a recording app that has no purpose for my Gallery but needs that permission, designed with ads - does not a good relationship make. Especially if its not to set (say) a background.

Maybe its my phone but I'm having trouble playing the recording ..even converted it to an mp3 and it's not working. Bummer.

Works as supposed ! Simple, record with good quality and easy to convert to mp3. BTW, the guy "I work at a phone company" must be working at the support where one almost find what you are talking about. ;)

I'm trying to find a reliable app to record my lectures and this one definitely isn't it. Screen showed it was recording and then later the file was all silence. Maybe it's my phone, but this app sucked.

...but strange enough, you can hear the recording in the headset, just doesn't work with the headset's mic. Otherwise not bad. PS Tried several voice recording apps, so far no luck with recording voice memos through BT headset... also tried the stock recorder, didnțt work either - maybe itțs an Android limitation?

Worthless. And I'm not an android idiot, I work at a phone company. This app doesn't record just looks like it is. You can't share, convert to mp3 and you can't save recording to library. If you try you get an empty wave file. Like I said. Worthless. POS.

Tetrible app

This is the only app that I could find that will let me record voice notes and then convert the speech to text later, allowing me to keep both the text and the original recording. I find this extremely useful.

Looks like a bunch of idiots have been rating lately so I had to post comments. This has been a long term app for me and I have installed it through 3 phones and countless ROM upgrades. I think that it is one of the most used apps on my phone. It does take a few minutes and reading through a short instructions page, (probably beyond the ability of the 1-star raters...) but then it's set and one click is all it takes to use it! My great big Thanks to the developer! And... just try to ignore the 1-stars :)
