DavDrive Lite for Android
Perhaps the feature was "lost in translation", but this app DOES NOT access the SD Card like the web site claims it does. What it calls "SDCARD" is just internal storage. As a test, on my Galaxy S5, I configured my photos to be stored on the sdcard, and then took a test photo. I then searched for the file name of the new photo over the DavDrive connection, and it could not be found.
best
Nice! Using the suggested BitKinex client on Windows 7 and now my phone is on my network.
Never worked with the bitkinex, but can access through browser. Must be me... great prog, continue dvpt !
Some success, but wouldn't work 100% keep up good work
This is fantastic. Works like a champ.
Works like a charm.Easy to use
Works like a charm. But it would be nice if the app description stated what the updates do.
Works great with my win7 system. Mount a share with the url is straight forward....
I don't have a clue what to do with it now that it's installed. No real instructions and can't find anything on their site about it. Great concept tho
Couldn't connect even w/ pc client installed. Way too complicated.
Can only share SD card. Needs ability to share mnt folder.
not too good folks
Driver
Use this with Klink. You click the button & you can manage files from your laptop.
More 1GB - no copy.
Very much to the point. Helpful for linux users. Just adding a dav server on the ip does the job
I had to use this webdav solution because I believe that installing a samba (I use linux) server or other on my android would require a rooted phone. This option was second best, nautilus recognizes my phone just as if it was another computer on my network. Also, browsing the settings is exactly what reflects the title the best : simple, perfect everything I needed and nothing more...
Inspired by this app and the recommended Bitkinex client I now fully understand what "client" means in this sentence. Which led to enlightenment on the word "Server." Which made me finally figure out what was going on with this whole "LAN" thing. I haven't been this interested in the nuts & bolts of computing since Windows 3.1. Stick out the setup if you're having trouble; I know that "Airdroid" app is easy but this one is rewarding.
Flawless
Awesome
I'm using it with an Ubuntu desktop, and I'm delighted! Fast and error-free! Upgrading to paid version for the locale plugin.
Love this app and the freedom it brings.
Does exactly what it says on the tin! Htc Wildfire.
An excellent piece of software, which works well and has never given me any problem whatsoever. It's very useful to have the contents of my phone's SD card appear as a shared 'folder' on my MacBook.
Performs as stated.
Wifi file explorer is way much better.
Didn't work for me. Saw a few directories but as soon as you try to find anything of use I got 404. Useless to me, uninstalling. x10.
Works great with osx and cyberduck a webdav client. Galaxy S
This app sucks!! Doesn't even work!! UNINSTALLED!!
Awesome....its working perfectly on my desire
Works.
I liked it alot. Works just as advertized. Using with Windows client BitKinex.
Works great. I was able to go to the web address and view and download files from my HTC Incredible
