Leica DISTO™ sketch

Please add a button next to multiple-delete button to enable quick sharing of multiple files. Without that, this otherwise good app is useless. PDF export/gallery export can currently be done only file by file, and each file takes a minute or so to export! Love the other features - triggering of laser from app, and storing 4 last measurements and dragging & dropping them onto dimension lines.

So disappointed. I bought my Disto D2 specifically after finding this app to only discover that it DOES NOT SCALE floorplans!! So ridiculous that a company like Leica would put out such a useless app that is actually a selling point for their laser instrument. The app actually has an option for " Scale" but it doesn't work. I brought it up with leica support and they told me that it effectively doesn't scale...that it is not a CAD app!! Many other laser manufacturers offer similar apps that do scale...I bought Leica for the reputation...I guess I was wrong. Should have got a Competitor laser and app.

Like most people here, I am already a Leica supporter. They make the best optics in the world and this is also transferred to the best lazer tools as well. Been using Leica M cameras and Distos for over 20 years now and they have never let me down. So....why this pointless piece of disaster app that does nothing useful apart from a memory for past distances. That's fine, but Leica insist on pushing the drawing ability. It belittles and embarrasses a fantastic product and company and should be withdrawn immediately and rewritten. Truly pointless app. If you need the memory for past distances it provides then fine, otherwise don't waste the bandwidth and don't bother downloading.

With android the export doesn't work properly. It export black images and pdf. You can't see the picture but onli a black frame. Tried on iphon and works properly. Please fix it

Please fix it so it makes measurements to scale. Without it is so inaccurate that it's unusable.

It's all been said before. Don't waste your time on this app, find a better alternative.

Wow. What a shame to have such inept app associated with Leica brand.

Works fine for rooms, but for larger building or flats it is not convenient.

Needs to scale. The ability to actually remame your sketches in the "My Sketches" menu is missing which is bizarre. Everything is sorted by date. What if you are making 10 sketches a day at 3 different addresses??? Expecting the user to click each one to see the title is silly. Pairing works well.

Leica Disto D2 (new) is excellent but this app is diabolical. it doesn't do anything that it claims to do. it doesn't scale and in picture mode it only lets a line be drawn from the middle of a room.. what use is that for wall to wall measurements. utter tosh and i expected better from Leica

Pairs OK, but this sketching app is useless without scaling. The whole app is not very useful. I would like to use this for sketching simple floor plans for my appraisals. So it's still more useful to just use pencil and paper then to waste time with this app. I love my disto laser, but hate this app. They really need to develop this app or remove it.

This app is useless without scaling and area calculations on Android. Is an upgrade comming to take these into account?

App crash popup every 10 seconds

Keeps crashing asks for do you have a disto in either the camera or sketch setting and then crashes. Useless app forget about the primative features what's the use when you cannot even run the application.

Fantastic tool, saves drawing a rough sketch and trying to work out what was what later. I'm amazed at how good the output is when you create a PDF of the plan. Makes measuring up a pleasure!

Major problem, it does not scale. I can do a grid where one tick on the grid is 50' and ten ticks is 1'.

doesnt autoscale the lines, even when i had it ON in the settings. i think you should be able to edit the line you just made e.g move it, resize it, etc. overall i feel the app isn't user friendly, but i can see that there's more potential to this app, just need a lot more tweaking.

No were near as good as the bosch app

Needs to have batch export on the edit menu rather than just delete, maybe share or backup to Google drive as well. Other than that the new update works well, though placing the first point is still inaccurate as the zoom doesn't work; one is immediately drawing the end point. Vertex editing should be clearer and also bring up zoom feature.

I have no idea why the remote control does not work after I update the S910 version to 3489, it keeps showing remote control on the Disto but the value is not transferred to the phone... it works for the previous firmware....

Can't take accurate surveys with this app.

wont pair with bluetooth if you have not up graded dont, you would expect better from Leica

Do not install as this "new" disto sketch, crashes at startup (with my Andriod tablet). Now you are unable to even use the earlier version. Absolute useless and probably not tested before the app was launched.

This app looks like it would be really cool and give some great functions.. Instead it just crashes all the time. The first measurement enters, but as soon as you send the second measurement.. Boom. Crash. (not the sound of my heart).

App is worthless. Only tags walls with dimensions. Doesn't scale anything to the measurement. Only takes lengths, no wall thicknesses. Plus only downloads as PDF. What a joke. I bought this disto thinking it would do so much more.

This app is unusable in the field, instantly crashing after every attempt to drag a measurement from a DISTO to a drawn overlay line. What a shame, since this $0 app represents the greatest utility for our $1,700+ DISTO S910. Crash reports submitted weeks ago have gone unresolved, despite the fact that our need for a site survey tool is greater than ever. The Dev team really needs to get their act together.

I have just purchased a new Leica measurer specifically for this functionality and the app just continually crashes.

Works like an absolute dream. Wish I'd bought a disto years ago. Great app too on Samsung Note 4.

Great app

This app has great promise and potential but it is let down by repeatedly crashing. It also distorts drawings making editing necessary. I've tried to put up with these deficiencies but have finally given up, having decided it's quicker and more reliable to make a paper sketch and note the dimensions on it.
