Sadly, did not work for me on my Samsung Note 3 with Android 4.4.2. Simply would not prevent the CPU from entering deep sleep mode. Not updated since 2012 so maybe that is why. Fortunately, I found Red Eye which does work and is far more complete. Also email to this dev has not resulted in any response.

The app im looking for great work dev

It would keep my s3 from full sleep, however screen would still dim. Still rating 4stars because dev put out an app with no dumb permissions that for most people does what its says need more people to make apps this way.

I downloaded this and placed on my home screen but how do you know its actually working. After a while my phone seemed it was still going into deep sleep. Maybe it would be a good thing to check out the code and find any bugs that might keep this from working right. Maybe add a sensor to activate no sleep and wake the device. I will continue to test this app.

I have a note 3 with a custom rom. It doesn't work.

Great apop to keep awake the device easily by just a toggle in the widget. The widget stays rarely visible in the screen, so the screen stays clear.

It works great, but it has to stay as a widget… that's not good if you like your homescreens clean.

The app does indeed prevent you from going into deep sleep mode which is very useful if you are downloading or torrenting something or if you are reading. The fact that it comes as a widget makes it all the more easy to use. Personally I use it when downloading large files overnight and it always works perfectly. Great app, thanks!!

I have a nexus one. I put it on a launcher screen and lowered the amount of time it took for the phone to tap out and it didn't work

The user should be able to chose the default setting to either on or off. This would help when users forget to put on the correct setting.
