About Map Measurer
Map Measurer allows you to measure the length of your routes. A route can be drawn freely on the map like using a pencil.By sliding a point along the route you can also measure how far it is to the endpoints.
Map Measurer is a perfect tool for a quick measurement of how long your hiking routes, jogging routes or other routes are!
The tool provides the following features:
* using a handy cursor allows you drawing the route precisely
* a double-click on the cursor switches between drawing mode and moving/zooming the map
* the route can easily be adjusted by cutting its end
* the routes can be stored
* unit of length:km, miles or nautical miles
* switching between map and satellite view of the underlying Google Maps
* your current location can be displayd (by GPS/network)
* optional fast rendering of the routes (recommended if performance of moving/zooming the map is too slow)
* no ads!

Drawing takes some getting used to and the auto locate can get annoying unless you disable it after the first time it zooms. Other than that, it works well for measuring my running and bike routes.

Being a motorcycle enthusiast I take short area trips. But am limited to a time frame. This program is excellent for letting me decide how far I can go by allowing me to draw my distance and then I just factor in my highway speed. I have found the distance drawn to be quite accurate. Thank you for this helpful fun app
