Visualization and Simulation
-----------------------------------------------------
In addition to the 3D printer control, it can visualize Gcodes and simulate a 3D print .GCode Simulator recognizes the print speeds and can simulate the print in realtime, but you can also speedup the prints (fast forward). Each layer is painted in a different color to see how a layer overlaps with the layer below.

Refer to the homepage for more information: http://gcodeprintr.dietzm.de

Visualization & Simulation Features:
-------------------------------------------------------
It analyses the Gcode file and prints additional information like:
*overall print time
*remaining print time
*speed of X/Y/Z movements
*speed of extrusion
*used filament
*yx move distance
*print object dimension
*average print speeds
*number of layers
*layer details
*speed distribution / Acceleration
*weight and price of the printed object
AND MORE ...

Remarks and Limitations
-----------------------------------
Work with many printers (e.g. Reprap, PrintrBot, Ultimaker, Makibox, Solidoodle, Robot3d, Multec Multirap). MakerBot firmware talks using a proprietary protocol called S3G where as others use raw G-Code, therefore only the gcode simulation is supported.
Tested with Slic3r and Skeinforge generated Gcodes.
To load files locally from the device, sd-card or dropbox you need to install a Android file manager (e.g. ES File Explorer)
Only absolut positioning is supported. Gcodes with relative positioning will likely fail.
Loading large Gcode files (multiple MegaByte) might fail, depending on the available memory of the device.
Printer Control Feature requires a android device with USB-OTG support and a USB-OTG cable.
Bluetooth support is still experimental.

PROBLEM SUPPORT
----------------
In case of problems please check on the homepage if the problem is already described.
If not, its best to generate a problem report with the app itself. (long press on console -> send by email)
You can also write an email to gcode@dietzm.de, I'm willing to fix all problems in time.

The collected data is only used to improve the App behaviour.

Praise GOD! This works with monoprice select mini! I very much hate getting my windows laptop out and maybe not with 3d print. Tryed most controls and they work!

Been using this program on my spare Samsung Tab 3 7". By factory, it does not work, because the Tab 3 7" does not support OTG out the box. After rooting and installing CM12 (Android 6), i have OTG. Program works very well, better than i anticipated. 1 issue i've been coming across is - it will force close when entering the app during a print, or after a print, into a second print. Not sure if this is due to system memory, or because of hiccups. One thing i'd like to see - treating the gcode recieving port as a wireless print server for slicing programs to send directly to. I'm fairly new in the 3d printer scene, so i'm not sure if this can be done. 4/5 due to random force closes.

Wasn't expecting it to work. But it does with my old Acer A500 tablet.

Works great! Just need camera view so you can monitor your print from afar.

Hi guys. my loading keeps failing. I get all my files from thingiverse

It is the best app for my prusa i3. Working very nicely. Can control my printer fully. Great job....

I'd give it a 5 star if it could read and convert .stl files to gcode.

Great app. The first android app that can completely control your printer. It immediately works on my Solidoodle 2 Pro printer. I did a small test print and it's really amazing to see it printing from my Galaxy S3 phone! I have'nt used it totally but some of my feedback so far 1) Setting of extruder/bed temperature. Instead of a slider can we have the option to type in the values? It's hard to set to a specific temperature with sliders. 2) Is it possible to charge the phone thru the otg?

This is the only Android app I have found to send g-code to my 3-d printer and control it manually. It even allows pause and continue during a print. I have not had a single problem with this app. It works great! The only improvement would be to add STL file opening and object slicing to generate the g-code. I currently have to generate g-code with Slic3r on a pc. Now that I have used it on more prints, I can give a little additional information... When printing really complex models that take a lot of memory, it can get lost and freeze up once in a while. Using the GCODE command G92 Xnnn Ynnn Znnn Ennn which resets the specified coordinates to new values can cause the display to draw the model incorrectly.

Please add support for the Ultimaker 2 Go or at least add the possibility to fully configure the parameters like the bed size, etc.

Same as GCode Sim both work well. But only with a very few phones over OTG. It would be awesome if it could work over WiFi.

I does what is says beautifully. It contains several useful networking features too. Though designed for 3D printing it works as a g-code sender for a CNC machine too.

I can tell it is definitely geared towards all bluetooth use, which is awesome. I Had a spare HC-05 bluetooth adapter from my quadcopter projects and all I had to do was plug in into the Ramps board enable it on Marlin and bingo I was using the app to control the printer. A really big touch screen control of the printer for hardly any money.

Hey, this worked right away when I plugged my Galaxy Tab s into my printrbot simple. The weird thing is my tablet plays starts to play music when the app is running for a bit. Is that part of the app?

Its awesome. Works great. Printed last night and this morning with it. No issues with the print. Except.. I have an issue with it constantly opening the settings menu when I try exit or go to layers etc/other options in through menu.

All I did was order a USB OTG cable from amazon that I needed to hook my tablet into my RUMBA board and everything was properly seen, recognized and connected without any hassle. The only recommendation I would make is to put the temperatures in a larger size font so it is easy to see. Otherwise, its perfect!

Really needs extrusion speed options (faster manual extrusion) to make it useful when changing filament. Print from sd also does not work on my M2 with RAMBO board, it always says failed...:( Really great developer is working on a fix

I've bought this after trying the free version. The free version does all I want. I bought this to show appreciation. X axis is inverted in mine, but it is brilliant for colour changes and set up. Will 100% keep this on my daily phone. Thanks. Brilliant app. Andy. Galaxy S2. Melzi Clone.

Connect your usb host phone and print (cable sold separately). Pretty sweet. And easier to use than the LCD screen option.

I'm running this on an overclocked galaxy note 1 and it will randomly pause for about 2 seconds during printing. This ruins prints as it leaves a glob of plastic where it had paused. 5 stars when fixed.

---h311sdr0id--- This thing works. And is the only one that actually does. I am surprised there aren't any more apps for RepRap/3D Printer setups. The few that are available all suck... Except for this one. ---h311sdr0id---
