Volume Lock & Mute

Does what it says... For 5 stars please fix the widget so it has more than a small line signifying whether volume is locked and unlocked... Different colours as well as the line might be better. Thank you

Works fine. My expensive but crappy Google nexus (among its other flaws like random dailing) turns the ring volume down by itself without warning so I miss most calls. This app stops that. The phone is basically an Huawei 6. Avoid, avoid avoid

Works, but sometimes the volume bar appears at screen-top of my Galaxy S7 Edge, and flickers there. I have to go turn this app off, then back on to get the volume bar to resume its hidden state.

Rubbish app. Don't install, doues nothing that it says it will. Waste of time.

DO NOT TRUST THE APPLICATION FOR HEARING PROTECTION....FULL VOLUME WITHOUT WARNING AT TIMES !!! Installed on a garbage huawei 1611 phone and it puts the volume on full without warning with "earbuds" in.

This does work! Easy to use gets the job done! Works with Android 7.1.1! Great app!

The only app I've found that actually works and locks the sound levels as advertised. Using Marshmallow 6.0.1 on a Note 4.

Doesn't work. Random volume adjustments and then it keeps everything muted until you kill the app.

Seems to do what it promises. I was forever knocking ring volume down and missing calls before i started using this app.

First up this is a really nice app as it does exactly what one would expected reliably. However there are 2 design choices that I do not understand. First up I have no idea what "lock volume at current level" does or rather what leaving it unchecked does. Second I would prefere that the service is started when opening the app, but that might not be the case for everyone.

There are many volume control apps out there, but this one uses a minuscule amount of memory and yet answered all of my needs. Give it a try and I think you will be as pleased as I am.

My volume would go to disabled all the time. This started with v7 Android update. Volume buttons in middle of phone is poor plus too sensitive. Accidental touch button and your phone is in do not disturb. SOLUTION -->This software is perfect. It locks phone volume and has a widget to disable software if you need to change volume. Click again if you want to save new setting. So far works perfect. No more missed calls.

I have had this a few months but wanted to "wait and see" before reviewing. Needed this because I was always accidently changing the volume when handling the phone and was missing calls etc because I had reduced the volume button without knowing I did. No more missed calls or notifications :) Love the app! Works great !!!!

Not a bad volume lock app. I wish developers would design a different notification bar icon. Using the same icon as "mute" is rather misleading. I'm using this to prevent accidental lowering of the ringer volume. This is just my first day of testing the app.

Unlike the guy who said it mutes immediately, I selected the lock at current volume box and it worked properly. But didn't work the way I need. Instead, I need a volume ringer lock at full volume that can be easily toggled to vibrate only or full volume. Still searching appreciate store.

I tried to locate my phone by calling it. Failed because the volume was accidentally turned down. This app fixed the problem. Volume is locked until I unlock it. Also has useful options.

Reason I installed this app was that one of the apps installed turned down the volume leading me to miss calls. Installed Volume Lock a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be working fine. Just had a problem that made me go into the settings and the language had changed from English to German. Have been able to sort it out.

Will work a few days an then stop working. I will then have to turn off and on to get it to work. Off course I do not find out it is not working until it gets bumped and volume turns down and I miss a call.

Want ringer always at full volume. Keeps getting set to 0. Must disable locking. Set volume to full. Select set to volume at start up. RESTART PHONE. Then enable lock. Apparently startup is when the phone starts. NOT WHEN ENABLED. Very poor ergonomics. Well this fid not work. Volume always goes to 0 and I miss calls which is why I wanted this. It only makes things worse

Ive tried over volume lock apps but they are too passive, letting Android OS adjust vol anyways. I vape & left mod in pocket w phone. Oil got into power/vol buttons on my LG K7. Total chaos. I have to be on call so I gotta hear the ringer. Vol Locker saves my job in turn saves me! 4 free!! *****

Didn't work for me. Instead of saving the volume level I had, it just turns the volume off as soon as I enable it. Tried fiddling around with the settings extensively but it won't do anything else.

Android 4.2.2. I've been trying this out for 2 weeks ever since I missed multiple calls to pick up a friend. I noticed that after locking the phone, I have no problem changing the volume. Last night my son called and the phone was mute again. Unistalled. Tried 3 other apps so far and none of them work.

Just installed and worked exactly as defined. Where has this app been all my (cell) life. Solves big problem--saved marriage!!

Works way better than the other app I was using. Prevents accidentally lowering volume when holding the phone, or if the volume button gets pressed in a pocket, purse or case, especially when sharing photos and the phone gets passed around! Easy to go silent/vibrate and back again. Only issue is that sometimes the call volume adjust window won't close, have to turn the app off and re-open, or reboot to clear.

Awesome app. I installed this cool app on my mom's phone where she always press the volume button making the ring volume so low any calls may not be noticed. This app saves me from doing it manually. Thank you!
