Contour Timesync OTG for Android
Really helpful app if you don't have computer. But still not perfect. I wish I could have all features like on a computer. ... I can not use with otg cable, only with microSD
I'm looking for a way to change Contour Roam2 settings on my Motorola Xoom, but this app is unable to connect /when connected as removable storage/ to camera and doesn't show 60 frames per sec. Anyway, thanks for the efforts and please make it work with Roam 2.
This is my first App Review ever. Went through all of the new hoops Google forces now - enabling Google+ and it's various screens, just to post this. :) Running this app on a Samsung Galaxy S2 (the T-Mobile version - SGH-T989), with a generic chinese OTG cable. . Works pretty well. Connecting to the original Contour Roam, flashed with the ROAM2 firmware v2.16, released 20Dec2012, which enables 60fps on 720p Would be nice if the new recording options can also be used. Perhaps, the developer can read the various possible options from the relevant sections in the FW_RTC.txt file, and use those to display various options. Also, it seems that the app reads the time from the same file, instead of the actual camera time (?) All in all, a pretty good effort.
I'm sure others would agree: you should make a paid version as well, so that we can compensate you for your work and initiative. As Xavier Faurens mentioned, it would be great if you could update the app to reflect ROAM 2's 60p.
On the Asus TF101 with the docking station (keyboard), using a USB 2.0 A to Mini-B cable plugged into the USB port on the docking station, the Location of Contour preferences file (third screenshot above) should be set to: /Removable/USBdisk2/FW_RTC.txt . Once you set that, it works as described by the author, and I'm pleased with it.
It is a great and easy way to configure your camera on the go. I tried it with my Roam2 camera, and it mostly works, but some options are missing (720p, 60fps). Could you please update your app for the Roam2? Thanks.
It works quite well as expected and I was able to turn it on silent mode on this app when I couldn't find that feature on story teller, however when I tried to change from video to picture mode it didn't work, it continued to make video. I am using the ROAM and a Stock S3 I saw another review and it worked for them with the same phone so I don't know what is wrong. Good work though, and thanks for not using ads.
This app works great on my N7 2012. I wonder if it could do 60fps. I believe my Contour Roam 2 can do 60fps. Good work...
Works well on my Nexus 7 (2013) with stick mount.
Wish i could give this more stars. Great app for those moments when you need to change your settings on the fly. Simply perfect
Great app, easy configuration of my Contour Roam with my Asus Transformer Prime. Thanks for your hard work.

Down loaded the original app from contour and worked like a charm
Would you be able to support changing the configuration as far as resolution/frequency as well?

Works once you figure out how to set file location On the Asus TF101 with the docking station (keyboard), using a USB 2.0 A to Mini-B cable plugged into the USB port on the docking station, the Location of Contour preferences file (third screenshot above) should be set to: /Removable/USBdisk2/FW_RTC.txt . Great concept! How about the Roam2? I love the idea! It looks like a great way to configure your camera on the go. I tried it with my Roam2 camera, and it mostly works, but some options are missing (720p, 60fps). Could you please update your app for the Roam2? Thanks.
