About Food Tracker

Food Tracker is here!

Food Tracker will help you to capture your eating habits and in consequence improve them.

This app is designed to simply track the category portions for the meals, snacks, and what you drink on a daily basis. Choose the up arrow to increase or the down arrow to decrease the quantities of the different categories.
Use the Semi-luxury category for sweets, alcohol, and other unhealthy sins.

Tip:
Choose the category icons for information regarding suggested serving sizes.

The comment function gives you the possibility to write down your weight if you want to record your process.
Or you can make a short comment if there was a birthday party - so you know why you were in the 'red area' on this day.

Great app for tracking food groups! As a diabetic, this is what I want to be tracking (not calories as in most other apps). I just wish a couple things were edit-able, e.g. category titles (would like to change "protein" to "dairy") and whether you want a minimum or a maximum of things (e.g. I'd like to track a minimum of vegetables, not a maximum).

This is the only serving tracking app I've found. It's a good start yet more versatility would be helpful. I would like to increase serving options not just decrease and be able to change or add category names (Proteins to Dairy or add Legumes).

All the apps here are for counting calories. I have been looking for a nutrition tracker for a while now. I do wish this app could provide monthly summaries too, right now it's just weekly

Works well with the British Heart Foundation "Facts not fads - Your simple guide to healthy weight loss".. Useful to quickly record food portions and food types.

Love that this isn't s calorie counter. Glad to find something so simple. I wish there were a way to change the units. Portions is good but I've been working in cups/oz. Also wish there was an option to set minimums and maximums. This app is a good tracker, would be excellent with a few customization options.

The app does not display properly the "Settings" option on a Samsung Galaxy S7 nor on a Samsung Galxy S7 Edge. The "+" sign is not displayed in Settings. Please fix this bug.

It is so good because it can help you find food.

Great idea, but you can't increase any food groups, only decrease.

Not everyone who logs their food intake wants to know the calories. It's actually quite detrimental to the recovery of people with eating disorders. So a heartfelt thank you for thinking of us and making this app. That said though, you really need to work on it some more lol

Not loving the food-shaming language for the "luxuries". "Sins", etc. Science says shame and guilt makes things worse for everyone, no matter the size. To everyone who would download this, here is your content warning: may be upsetting for those prone to eating disorders! Remember, food is food. The only truly bad foods are those which make you sick (allergies, intolerance, certain illnesses).

The app is ok, but it is too simple for me. It is also confusing.

I just don't get it

This is the best app that i have seen for food exchange. I would give 5 stars if I could input desired portion numbers according my personal dietary needs.

I just started using this app, so have yet to see results, but I really like that you don't have to weigh anything out of really measure it or know the exact calories. One improvement would be to be able to set both minimums and maximums for food groups. That way I can make sure that I'm getting enough vegetables/fruits. Also, in the weekly view it would be nice if the little squares that show if you achieved a goal also had the number of servings on them from that food group.

Great app! This app works great with the DASH diet for tracking food groups/exchanges. Just indicate the number of servings for each group. There isn't a database and you aren't logging specific foods. I plan to use this along with MyFitnessPal to keep a food journal. Excellent communication with the developer.

This is exactly what I want in a diet exchange tracker EXCEPT you can't increase your daily allowance of any category for your specific needs. Could have been great!

There should be minimum settings for things like fruits and vegetables!

About time for an app like this on Google Play. Thank you. :)

Nice, simple to use app.  I especially like the weekly view with the red/yellow/green grid. That really makes it easy to see trends. Half portions are also a nice feature One crucial function that would make it truly wonderful the ability to customize minimums and maximums for each category. On a low carb diet, my portion counts are very different than your defaults. The other 'wish list' item would be the ability to sync between devices, but that isn't as important

I am disappointed that this app predetermines how much of what food category I'm supposed to have daily as it conflicts with the diet plan I'm trying to follow. If there's a way to customize the portions I can't find it. Uninstalling.

Great app, I had to search through a lot to find an app that tracked what I wanted. I have a small suggestions/requests. It would be great if we had the option to edit or delete categories. I am a vegetarian, so I have no use for the meat section. Also, I don't see how to set minimum amounts? Thanks.

I used to use this app on my old phone. Now I have a Galaxy Note 4 and when I try to customize the amounts the window is too small FOR THE SCREEN and I cannot add portions. Uninstalling and looming for new app. Disappointed !

It would be helpful if the app could monitor both minimums and maximums in each category.

I love this app - it's perfect for keeping up with what I eat without going into too much detail. One improvement - I wish the healthy categories had minimums instead of maximums. I hate getting a "red light" for eating too many fruits!

I love the concept because a food diary just isn't for me. I just wish I could add in grains. The weekly overview just wasn't working for me either.

I have been using this app for a week. I have lost weight by keeping me abreast of my intake. The app is very easy to use and extremely helpful. It would be great if there was a way to adjust the "limits" of categories, since what my Dr has put me on varies from the limits locked on the app. I continue to use comment section to record my glucose levels and weight. Great app.

I just have to look up the words so I know what they mean. I'd love this in English.
