Mit dieser App könnt ihr endlich übersichtlich auf einer Karte alle Radstationen in Mainz inkl. Anzahl freier Räder und freier Boxen des Mainzer Fahrrad Verleihsystems sehen. Ihr erkennt auf einen Blick, wo freie Räder und freie Boxen verfügbar sind, so dass ihr nie wieder hilflos bei der Ausleihe vor einer leeren oder bei der Rückgabe vor einer vollen Station steht.

Ich betone, dass es sich bei dieser App NICHT um die "offizielle" MVG Mein Rad App handelt. Diese wird wohl demnächst auch für Android verfügbar sein. Hier bekommt ihr eine nicht perfekte aber dafür zur Zeit funktionierende Version.

Aufgrund einiger Fragen bzgl. hohen Datenaustauschs hier einige Details:
- Die Google Maps Komponente erlaubt laut aktueller Nutzungsbedingungen kein Caching. Dadurch würde die Karte jedes Mal neu geladen werden. Daher hab ich die App mit OpenStreetMaps realisiert. Ausserdem ist diese im Stadtgebiet vieeeeel aktueller, siehe Coface-Arena oder FH-Gelände...
- Jede Aktualisierung überträgt ca. 70KB. Nämlich genau die Größe der http://mobil.mvgmeinrad.de Webseite.
- Berechtigungen: Alle Berechtigungen werden ausschließlich von der OpenStreetMap-Komponente zur Aktualisierung der Karten und des Standorts verwendet!

Neues in v1.9:

Neues in v1.2:
- Die Position der Radstation an der Fachhochschule wird nun korrekt angezeigt. Grund für die falsche Anzeige war der doppelt verwendete Name: "Fachhochschule" auf der "offiziellen" MVG-Google Map. Damit kommt die App nun klar. Danke Daniel für die Meldung des Bugs.

- Betaversion veröffentlicht With this app you can see including number of free bikes and free boxes of Mainz bike rental system finally clearly on a map of all bike stations in Mainz. You can see at a glance where free bikes and free boxes are available, so you never stands helpless again when borrowing against a blank or upon return before a full station.

I emphasize that it is this app NOT the "official" MVG My bike is app. This will probably soon be available for Android. Here you will get a not perfect but for the time working version.

Due to some questions about high data exchanges here are some details:
- The Google Maps component allowed according to the current conditions of use no caching. Thus, the card would be reloaded each time. Therefore, I realized the app with Open Street Maps. Moreover, this is in the city vieeeeel current, see Coface Arena or FH-terrain ...
- Each update transmits approximately 70KB. That is exactly the size of the http://mobil.mvgmeinrad.de website.
- Permissions: All permissions will be used exclusively by the OpenStreetMap component for updating the maps and the location!

- The position of the bike station at the University of Applied Sciences is now displayed correctly. Reason for the incorrect display of the name was used twice: "Fachhochschule" in the "official" MVG Google Map. So that the app is now clear. Thank you Daniel for reporting bugs.
