NotifyClean for Android
Here an idea an option to turn off certain notifications by a word/words would be great for restricting certain notifications by a word
Best notification disabler for rooted android devices.
It's a Google Play app. Not in the Xposed repo. People buy "donation" packages. Be professional; submit a changelog when submitting an update.
I am so glad I found this app! It works to scrub notifications that I don't want, including pesky ones (like wifi notification) that won't go away even with editing in the sqlite db. Purchased the donate version to support the developer! Get it!
Removed the wifi calling notification that has bothered me for a long time! Works and easy to use!
One hell of a job dev, the android notifications used to bugging me a lot. Got rid of them with this little but efficient app. THANKS A LOT...
It can be somewhat tricky to master the many interoperability quirks of this Xposed module and the already really quite good notification taming that comes standard in Marshmallow, but this app offers enough cherries on top to be worth the price of admission; even though I do feel that the price is comparatively high when laid next to the cream of the crop root apps. The UI has a face only its parent could love, and is both unintuitive and illogical in the execution of some of the details. There are bugs, too. For example, changing the ranking of *any* notification results in all status bar app icons being removed on my S7 Edge. Lest this sound like a bad review, NotifyClean is still a useful bit of kit that I'm glad to have on my phone. It just needs a facelift and some love and attention for its design.
Thank you. Needs Backup & Restore Functions Please
Module results in black screen on google camera occassionally when using the double tap to open camera feature on Nexus 5X. Stock rom.
i love this app BUT suddenly crashes in CM13
Vert helpful app. But I wish it would work without xposed.
About two years ago I purchased an 8 dollar license that allowed registered usage of all these applications, if I was asked to pay twenty dollars, I still would feel like I ripped off the developer. Great set of products you won't find anywhere else, always maintained, updated and new solutions added. Please help support this outstanding developer. LGG3 back dated OS to 4.4.2
Just the app I have been looking for. I spend several days looking for a way to stop some Tasker notifications, such as no profile active. I use a MS Band and wanted some fortifications sent and other not.. This app is just the ticket to do suppress some notification of an app.
I can hide the VPN notification for Adguard, hide Avast's notifications, etc. It just visually hides the notification, so if the notification was made to keep the app running (avoid Android LMK), it will still serve it's purpose. Great simple app!
Does its job mostly okay, certainly gets rid of static notifications (ie. notifications from apps that don't change over time) - however it doesn't do so well on apps where the text in the notification bar changes. For example. I have the Pebble Time app which reports the connection status of my Pebble watch. If I tell NotifyClean to block the "Your Pebble is Connected" status but none of the others (like "Connecting to Pebble" or "Your Pebble is Disconnected" it will cause an out-of-date notification to remain eg. "Connecting to Pebble" remains on the statusbar after the Pebble is connected (and the statusbar would change to "Your Pebble is Connected" - I've tried all the different notification detect methods and none of them work around this issue. Using CM13 (Android 6.0.1) on a Galaxy S5. -- UPDATE -- So I decided to buy the app to see if any of the extra functionality gets around the above issue. It does. There's a checkbox in the "donate" version that will remove an old notification if a newer one is denied.
Need to reinstal when i was rebooted my phone.. Cm13
Getting a lot of reboots with this running.
It works, provided you have root. However it would seem like something about samsung gave it phantom notifications. It's fine now
Great! Can you change the icon into something more attractive?
it keeps giving me a 3 short 1 long vibration pattern. Oddly this is fixed by having it block itself. otherwise this is a great alternative to preventing certain notifications if you can't change or uninstall the app it comes from. EDIT: Nevermind it came back, I beleive the built in achievements are bugged, you might just want to turn them off, I've found it rather self defeating to the apps original purpose
It's not beautiful, but it works flawlessly. Buying the donor app to support the developer is totally worthwhile.
Just doesn't show any notifications at all on the status bar and on pull down anymore,
Awesome notification manager.!
Excellent Job Works better than advertised!!!
It does a great job keeping my notification panel from being crammed up and then after I purchased the donated version check out the other things you can do there ain't nothing on the market like it, there is not another application on the market that does a better job.

Just like the bootmanager there great!
Could we get a notification count for each app listed? I want to easily scout out which apps are generating notifications so much, instead of guessing.

Works well just like all your other apps
This app is a great idea. I bought it to stop the annoying Verizon software update notifications on my Galaxy S5. But it doesn't really work. It only stops maybe one out of five of those notifications, and only intermittently stops the other notifications that I specified it should stop - such as "Charging Complete" that would come on at 2am, with a beep (brilliant! I've found Titanium's app freezer function much more effective). Perhaps the implementation is overlooking something? Most damaging, when I installed it, my phone slowed down horribly. It became very insensitive to touch, very slow to respond, almost unresponsive sometime. A lucky guess made me uninstall this app, and my phone sprang to life. Yes, Xposed is useful to me (tethering!), but this app was not worth the slowdown. Perhaps it is linked to it trying to monitor EVERY notification- it found over 600 in one category in just a few days. Perhaps I am missing something, but perhaps the developer could address this problem that surely is not happening to me alone?

Get some more Status bar estate ;)
Loved it
This is seriously my FAVORITE app on Android and another great reason to root! I used to be freaking ANNOYED with all the notification icon spam that used to hit my status bar. Now with NotifyClean the developer baked in a request of mine to hide ALL the notification icons and only show the app icons I WANT! I love it now that combined it with a badge notification system and it rocks! I can leave a notification up there all day to get to later and not have to go INSANE looking at it! Perfect!
Just like the bootmanager there great!
Great
This is by far the ONE module that I could never live without. Thank you, thank you DEVELOPER!! I've gotten rid of tons of spam from my notification pull-down, including the "battery full" and "GPS" and various messages from lots of apps. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Oh, and in running it for the last ~six months, I've never had one single crash or battery drain or anything. This app just works and works and works. AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on and various rooted TouchWiz and CyanogenMOD based ROM's. EDIT: Months later and this app still works perfect. I've used it on TouchWiz 4.4.2 and CM11 so far. And I just spent the $4 to purchase it (donation).
