Horrible ui making changes is a nightmare. I needed to edit the second ingredient in my list and had to rewrite all the following ingredients.

This is an excellent recipe keeper, but I believe that a few improvements need to be made before I can assign 5 stars. First the ability to use fractions instead of decimals would increase ease of use. Second, the ability to auto convert based on preferences between units (imperial vs metric) Third, the app currently converts a .3 and .6 number to a ludicrous decimal point that makes no sence, which makes recipes that need .3 inserted because you can't insert 1/3 highly cluttered (oddly, tripling the recipe as default and then decreasing to a third does not result in the random string of numbers). Some ways to improve usability include: Fourth, the ability to convert units to easier to read units (ie. .0625 cup to 1 tbsp or 32 tbsp to 2 cups) Fifth, a separate section in the recipes for utensils needed. I would also like to see a more flexible yield option so that instead of putting "ingredients for 2 16count batches" I can put a yield number that can be freely adjusted up and down (preferably so that I may put a 32 count recipe that can be adjusted to 12, 10, 60, 144, or any other numbers within reason or even just half increments). Obviously all of these may need implementation for me to view it as perfect, but some are more important than others, especially simple changes like additional dedicated sections and needed ease of use features like fractions and decimals that don't randomly have extra digets.

Excellent work! This is an app for professional Chefs and Restraunteurs who want to quickly and easily add their own recipes and have them all categorized by menu section or cuisine type. You can also put ingredients into subheadings to differentiate ingredients between steps. You can drag the slider to change ingredient amounts to serve different numbers of people. Its the only recipe app on the Play Store that doesn't put your intellectual property online or upload your recipes to their own servers, yet still gives you advanced functionality. It also doesn't have any ads or limitations. Superb design. You can add your own custom units as well. Share is awesome, putting the complete recipe in an email or sms etc. Export is easy to a notepad then save it. You have to do that one by one though. I'd like an export to RTF for all recipes. I'd also like numbered or bulleted lists for preparation. And the ability to add the '/' for fractions like 1/3 etc, or even a fraction drop-down list. And bulleted double-spacing would be great for the ingredients list. And keywords would be a good addition as well. As would the ability to copy recipes to make different versions of them. But it works awesome as is, thanks!

It is really easy to use & quite intuitive. It is great for putting all those recipes you have collected over the years into an easy to read format. It may take me a while to get them all sorted, but I am determined, & with the help of this great little app it now seems possible!

Well done easy to use. Looks good too. There are some couple of things. In the US we use cup as a unit of measure in our recipes. Please add that to the recipe entry wizard. Thanks for such a good app. Thank s for your reply. I have figured out how to add cups. Wonderful app.

Just wanted a way to organize recipes that were scribbled down on bits of paper. For the most part, I just take a picture of the note and posted with the recipes. I'll fill in the blanks later. Works great for this.

Straight-forward and goodlooking. A smart way to collect together all those recipes cut from magazines!

I did give 5 stars to start until I found out I cannot see my ingredients, after all that time I spent typing. So annoying! I am now giving 1 star until this is fixed. I want to see all that I typed. That mixture bar is also annoying. I understand the purpose of doubling the recipe, but if I cannot see my ingredients it is a useless app. Thank you for your time.
