Die Appsite Gaildorf informiert mobile Nutzer umfassend über die Stadt Gaildorf. Sie ist kostenlos und besteht aus zahlreichen Einzel-Apps, die ein Konzentrat aus den Inhalten der Website darstellen. Die Inhalte sind themen- und zielgruppenorientiert aufgebaut.

Die Objekte werden jeweils mit verknüpftem Standort dargestellt.

Eine Neuentwicklung sind Live-Meldungen: Mobile Nutzer können der Stadt nach Registrierung über das Smartphone sofort Informationen über Schäden oder Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten mitteilen. Es können zusätzliche Informationen wie Fotos oder GPS-Standort mitgesendet werden. Auf einer Karte werden die bisher betroffenen Standorte angezeigt.
