About K-9 Mail for SmartWatch
This app displays a notification on your Sony SmartWatch 2 each time K-9 Mail, the email app with the robot dog, receives a new message.
A notification displays:
• name of the sender
• time the email was sent
• message subject
• preview of the message text (~500 characters)
From the menu on the watch you can…
• open the currently displayed message on the phone
• delete the message
To be able to use this extension you need to have the following apps installed:
• Smart Connect
• Smart Watch 2 SW2
• K-9 Mail
Note: This app can only display notifications for messages in K-9 Mail's 'Unified Inbox'. Please make sure the preference 'Global Settings - Display - Hide special accounts' in K-9 Mail is unchecked.
This extension is very new and most likely contains some bugs. If it doesn't work for you, please drop me a line using the "email developer" link in the Play store.

Worked great for my needs but I wish that there was no confirmation to delete an email and the delete button just deleted the email. An archive button would be even better. If there was an archive button or delete button with no confirmation this would be 5 stars.

This app singlehandedly made my smartwatch 100 times more useful. I was very frustrated that Sony's email app only worked on Sony phones, and with this app I was able to get email on my Galaxy S4 to my watch.

Not a fan in general of K-9 because lacks quick archive and more compared to gmail. Have it now though just to be able to delete already read or useless emails directly from my watch using this awesome app. Full text since the beginning which Gmail by Sony has copied but theirs still can't delete mail. Thanks for making an app that prevents me from having to check the same mails twice.

Was able to use K-9 to redirect my work exchange email to my Smart Watch 2. This is exactly the reason for my watch purchase. No other mail client that I found was able to do this... Bravo!!

Emails are limited to 30. Need more capacity, 100 would be nice. Also need pre programmed response like Sony sw2 texting app so can do quick response... Thanks K9 dog mail....

Had this initially installed on sony smart watch 2 and worked fine. I then made amendments to notifications and ever since despite removing and reloading app emails do not appear on smart watch. Nor do i get notifications. Did try emailing but no response a couple of weeks ago but no response. Phone version of app works well though

Works incredibly well. All my k9 email goes straight to my sw2, which means no separate apps for gmail and exchange! Delete confirmation is annoying, if anyone listening.
