About SMSoIP
Send your text messages via Internet (i.e. Wifi or 3G connection) by your favourite provider for free or low costs. No need to log in at any website, just use your phone for sending a web sms.

INTERNET -> for sending SMS over the internet
READ_CONTACTS -> Picking a number
WRITE_SMS and READ_SMS -> for putting sent SMS in your device
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE -> Checking for active internet connection
CHANGE_WIFI_STATE -> enabling Wifi by one button press
READ_PHONE_STATE -> get phonenumber for showing in last message dialog
RECEIVE_SMS -> for showing notification
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE -> settings im- and export

If this app were to actually integrate with the device's internal messaging, as claimed, it would be worth 5 stars. None of the SMS' sent via this app have been saved to my device. which makes it very awkward to keep a track of threads as normal.I was unable to find a link on the dev's website to report any faults, so I guess it will not be fixed.

I just use it with fishtext and it works well. Would be nice to have a fallback of using the the standard way of sending SMS over the mobile network but not a deal breaker. Five star if it appears though.

Works nicely interface a bit primitive line all apps of this kind but at least main functionalities are there like conversation trails and contacts integration.

I've seen a lot of bad interfaces, but this one takes the cake. Opened it up and closed it right away. No way will I use something that ugly.

This App, using Fishtext, works faultlessly. If I had one gripe, the interface is a little ugly and buttons need updating or removed, as simply not used. But deserves five stars for reliability. App look does need an overhaul tho.

The interface is a bit cluttered but it's improved. Now XLSMS is gone this is one of the few apps that uses fishtext, and fishtext flatly refuse to support Android with no explanation why.

Thread view is a disaster... Removing addressee dialog does not blur the background activity. The layout of the whole screen looks awkward..Ads don't have to be always showing.. People will pay the money if it's worthy, not only to remove the Ads...

Super App. Einfach und schnell die Internetdienste wie SMS.de oder gmx nutzen ohne sich mühevoll in den Browser einloggen zu müssen. Die jeweiligen Plugins (zum Beispiel SMS.de) müssen nach diesem App hier runterladen und installiert werden.

Been using this for a while, and it does a good job, however how can I set it up to have my sent messages saved into my existing sms app. When I use this, i can only view the other persons side of the conversation. I used to use WebSMS and that worked well showing sent messages. I am using a SG6.
