About Chiffry Secure Messenger
Chiffry is the first app with the quality label "IT Security made in Germany", which allows you a safe and comprehensive communication. With Chiffry you can make phone calls tap-proof and send your photos, videos, contacts, voice and text messages confidential. All data will be securely transmitted using state-of-the-art end-to-end encryption (256 bit AES - GCM 512 bit ECDH) and digital signatures (512 bit ECDSA).
For information security these key lengths and encryption methods are used:
Chiffry uses elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) and the industry standard AES. The key lengths used correspond respectively to 15,500 bit RSA keys (Source: BSI TR 02102-1). Other service providers offer usually security equal to a maximum of 4,096 bit RSA keys.
According to the BSI (Federal Office for Information Security) directive "BSI TR-03111" the recommended ECC curve "brainpoolP512r1" for asymmetric functions is exclusively used.

Works well. It is as easy to use as Threema, Telegram or What's App, but the interface is a major eye sore. Some material design and a new logo are desperately necessary. Plus my contact list consists of only one person who is on Telegram and Threema as well.

I had this installed previously on my old phone, however, I am now trying to install it on my new phone but the registration continually fails... Shame as it worked very well on my old phone...

The application icon had disappeared sometime after the last update. Rooted Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0. Update: Uninstalled then reinstalled and icon reappeared. I wonder if ART odexing corrupted the file when I updated my system partition.

Nach dem Android 5.0 update, muss ich mein Handy noch bei Chiffry anmelden. Ich würde das zwar machen, aber das App lässt mich nicht anmelden. Noch nach Monaten kann ich nicht mein Handy anmelden. Bitte versuchen Sie das zu bearbeiten. Ich würde gern dieses App noch benutzen.

Calls quality need improvement but the problem may not be with app. Size of video / photo that can be sent is small compared to other apps but there is a trade off, either security or replicate offerings of other apps.
