Carplounge GPS Autopilot

Statt einer normalen Fernsteuerung eines Futterbootes wird beim Carplounge Autopiloten ein Android Tablet/Phone verwendet. Die nötige Software steht kostenlos im Google Playstore zur Verfügung und kann auf jedem Android Gerät mit Bluetooth verwendet werden. Das Tablet wird über Bluetooth mit einer Transmitterbox mit dem Boot verbunden und kann es nun vollständig über den Touchscreen steuern. Im manuellen Modus kann das Boot wie ein normales Futterboot verwendet und über den Touchscreen gesteurt. Die Position und Fahrroute des Bootes, sowie Ausrichtung (Kompassfunktion!) werden auf der Karte dargestellt und laufend aktualisiert. Zusätzlich können erfolgversprechende Angelstellen (Spots), die zB. mit Hilfe des Echolotes gefunden wurden, über das eingebaute GPS abgespeichert und benannt werden, z.B. „Steg links“, „Stelle 1“, „Home“ etc.

Im Autopilot-Modus können die Punkte ausgewählt und zu einer Route kombiniert werden mit dazugehörigen Aktionen (Linke Luke auf/ Rechte Luke auf/ Linke Release auf/ Rechte Release auf/ Licht anschalten...).

Beispiel: 1.) fahre zur Position „Stelle1“, da angekommen rechte Luke auf 2.) fahre zur Position „Steg Links“ da angekommen linke Luke auf 3.) komme zurück zum Angelplatz und blink einmal. Das Boot kann nun beladen werden und fährt die Route automatisch ab. Es können nahezu unendlich viele Spots und Routen gespeichert werden. Durch genauste Messtechnologie wie Lage- und Beschleunigungssensoren sowie modernste GPS- und Kompass-Technologie wird eine absolut präzise Routenführung ermöglicht, zu 90% mit einer Genauigkeit von unter 30cm!

Auch das Abspannen der Schnur während der Fahrt, besonders beim Ausfahren von 2 Ruten gleichzeitig an unterschiedliche Spots ist intelligent gelöst: Spannt man eine oder beide Schnüre während der Fahrt des Bootes, wird dies durch die eingebaute Elektronik erkannt und das Boot steuert entsprechend dem Zug entgegen, so bleibt das Boot immer auf dem direktem Kurs zum gewählten Ziel ohne unnötige Kurven zu fahren und somit Schnurbögen zu erzeugen.

Der Autopilot ersetzt die normale Fernbedienung des Bootes. Dennoch bieten wir die Möglichkeit eine Fernbedienung mit an den Autopiloten anzuschließen. So können Sie wählen, ob Sie das Boot über Ihr Tablet oder die Fernbedienung steuern wollen. Zur Autopilot App Steuerung können alle Android Tablets mit Bluetooth verwendet werden. Derzeit ist unsere App auf 7-Zoll Tablets optimiert, in kürze können auch Smartphones ab 4 Zoll bis zu 10 Zoll Tablets die App aufbereitet anzeigen. Die Steuerung erfolgt über den Touchscreen des Tablets. Eine Alternative ist z.B. das Archos Gamepad, welches mit den integrierten Steuerknüppeln das Fahren und die Funktionssteuerung über Knöpfe bietet (AmazonLink)

Die Möglichkeiten und das intuitive Bedienkonzept des neuen Autopilot-Systems wird mittelfristig normale Funk-Fernbedienungen bei unseren Futterbooten vollständig ersetzen. Die kostenlose, über den Google Play Store verfügbare App, wird von uns deshalb ständig weiterentwickelt und ausgebaut werden. Mittels automatischen Softwareupdates über den Playstore können wir neue Funktionswünsche, Änderungen und Erweiterungen zum schnellen Update zur Verfügung stellen, ohne das der Autopilot bzw. das Boot bei uns eingesendet werden muss. Die Autopilot App wird wie bei Tablet/Smartphones üblich automatisch aktualisiert. Instead of a normal remote control of a boat while lining Carplounge autopilot Android Tablet / Phone is used. By accurate measurement technology such as position and acceleration sensors and the latest GPS and Compass technology absolutely precise route guidance is possible to 90% with an accuracy of less than 30cm!

Currently, our app is optimized for 7-inch tablets, smartphones and soon up to 10 inch Tablets prepared from the app 4 inch display. It is controlled via the touch screen of the tablet. An alternative is e.g. the Archos gamepad, which provides the driving and control over the function buttons with the integrated joysticks (Amazon link)

The possibilities and the intuitive operating concept of the new autopilot system will eventually replace normal radio remote controls completely in our food boats. The free, available on the Google Play Store app is used by us thus constantly evolving and expanding. Using automatic software updates over the PlayStore we can make feature requests, changes and enhancements to quickly update is available, without the autopilot or the boat must be sent to us.
