A recent study published by the Texas Transportation Institute has shown, that reading a text message while driving increases your reaction time to up to 4 seconds and that you are eleven times more likely not to see an obstacle.
This is the reason we created this app: To drive safely, but still being able to receive and write text messages.

This app is completely different from these other apps in the market; it uses extremely few resources, which let your device lasts longer, but yet gives you extremely powerful features.

Once the app is configured, you don't have to do anything anymore: If you want to, the app starts by it self if you put it in a cardock, if you connect to a bluetooth device or simply start Google's Car Home.

But the app goes even one step further to disburden you while driving: It may automatically accept all your calls after a set time or put them to your phone's speakers.

Also does it have an online or offline voice control that allows you to call back or send one of three user defined text messages without looking on your phone!

You think you have seen all these "SMS Readers" already and they're all the same? This one's not!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us! We answer every mail within a very short time!

By the way, the speech output sounds better with high quality TTS engines (like the Ivona one), but works as well with the stock one.

I have a moto g cheap phone and Ford sync. Tried all different ways to get my car to read text messages when driving. I couldn't get it working. This app worked perfectly I will definitely be purchasing the app. Great job. Would be good to be able to voice respond to texts but it's great that I can get my texts read over Bluetooth. Very impressed

C70%
by C####:

Wish the developer would add support for responding to text messages rather than canned responses. Any plans to do so?

O70%
by O####:

The only thing missing is an option to reply to a text via voice

A70%

Didn't work for my purposes. Wish hangouts would just work with SMS app. Car already reads those fine stock.

Tried it. Seems OK but refused to close down on phone - hibernate- which always makes me suspicious so have uninstalled till I can sort this out.

If it worked with Kik I'd buy it.

It worked really well in playing back sms message, but I need to be able to reply to text in my own words not in a predetermined text. I wanted to use this when at home, not just in the car.

Z70%
by Z####:

I was really disappointed when I realized that there is only three options for replying to an incoming SMS.

There's not enough in this demo version to make me feel confident in buying the paid version. Yes, it reads texts okay, but many apps can do that. I need a true hands-free sms and voice dialing app for when I'm driving, but there's no way I can know if this will be something I can train and use, or whether it will be just another app that makes me want to throw my poor phone out the window in frustration! My old Razr still has the best voice dialer via Bluetooth ever! But it also had voice training.

N70%
by N####:

This app works great, but it turned out to be a short term fix. I ended up replacing my mono Bluetooth headset.

L70%

Can u not connect it to a kenwood head unit?

U70%
by U####:

Seems pretty good so far, testing with SMS and Kaiten/K9 on CM10 Atrix, lots of options, appears very comprehensive.

N70%
by N####:

This demo is way too crippled to give the program a fair trial. Only two words from incoming text are read, how are we supposed to evaluate performance of program based on that?

J70%

I70%

Works fine...until I try to use bluetooth. Come on, my speaker phone us not loud enough

N70%
by N####:

Worked very well with phone and Parrot in-car bluetooth kit. If it could be linked into GMail the developer would have a first class app. Well done.

S70%
by S####:

Apparently only sms is read out in demo version? If whatspp is not possible, then i will stay away.

X70%

HTC EVO 4G - inexpensive, simple setup, plays notification and text msg. To analog Bluetooth devices. Very useful when phone is stored and it's noisy.

W70%
by W####:

I bought the full version and it works great in conjunction with Car Dashboard Pro! The dev is super friendly and helpful!

C70%
by C####:

Voice recognition is weak at best. Typically doesn't work. Especially over Bluetooth. No functionality whatsoever. Rather bummed. Had high expectations.

N70%
by N####:

This app didn't always activate when my phone was in the car dock. SMS announcement would also start in bluetooth and switch to speaker for some reason. Also it would never recognize my "Yes" when it asked whether I wanted to reply, even when I shouted at the top of my lungs. I don't know if this is because the demo version is severely crippled, but it certainly doesn't impress me enough to pay $3.99.
