GisChem – das Gefahrstoffinformationssystem Chemikalien der BG RCI und BGHM

GisChem enthält Datenblätter mit zahlreichen Informationen zum sicheren Umgang mit Gefahrstoffen am Arbeitsplatz. Neben den Gefährdungen werden Schutzmaßnahmen (z.B. Technische und Organisatorische Maßnahmen, Persönliche Schutzmaßnahmen, Brand- und Explosionsschutz) beschrieben und Hinweise z. B. zu den Themen Lagerung und Entsorgung gegeben. Zu jedem Gefahrstoff gibt es auch einen Betriebsanweisungsentwurf zur Information der Beschäftigten.

GisChem ist sowohl online unter www.gischem.de als auch in einer Webapp unter www.gischemapp.de verfügbar. Die hier angebotene GisChem-App speichert die Datenbank direkt auf dem Smartphone (etwa 30 MB), so dass die Daten auch ohne Internetzugang verfügbar sind. Auf Datenaktualisierungen, die aufgrund der sich ständig verändernden Rechtslage erforderlich sind, wird der Nutzer direkt in der App aufmerksam gemacht und kann selbst die aktualisierte Datenbank herunterladen. Eine neue Version der App ist hierfür nicht notwendig.

Die weiteren GisChem-Module zur interaktiven Erstellung von Betriebsanweisungen, zum Führen eines Gefahrstoffverzeichnisses sowie der GHS-Konverter und der GHS-Gemischrechner sind nur in der Desktop-Variante von GisChem erhältlich und kein Bestandteil der App.


Herausgeber

Die GisChem-App wird erstellt und gepflegt von GisChem in einer Kooperation der Berufsgenossenschaft Rohstoffe und chemische Industrie, BG RCI, und der Berufsgenossenschaft Holz und Metall, BGHM. Rechtlicher Ansprechpartner ist die BG RCI.


Nutzung und Haftung

Inhaberin aller Rechte bezüglich der GisChem-App und der darin enthaltenen Darstellungen und Informationen zu den Gefahrstoffen ist die Berufsgenossenschaft Rohstoffe und chemische Industrie. Die App darf für Zwecke des Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutzes sowie zu innerbetrieblichen Informationszwecken und darüber hinaus im Rahmen der arbeitsmedizinischen oder sicherheitstechnischen Betreuung von Betrieben - auch durch externe sicherheitstechnische oder arbeitmedizinische Dienstleister - frei verwendet werden. Eine darüber hinausgehende kommerzielle Nutzung oder eine Veröffentlichung in jeglichen Medien ist nur mit Genehmigung von GisChem erlaubt. Die Daten in der GisChem-App werden sorgfältig erstellt und gepflegt. Dennoch kann, gleich aus welchem Rechtsgrund, keine Haftung übernommen werden. GisChem contains datasheets with numerous information on the safe handling of hazardous materials in the workplace.
