Audi MMI connect for Android
Audi MMI Connect. Oh the irony.
The most useful feature does not work most of the times. If nothing else worked, but the Napster application did, I would be very happy with it. The MMI shows Napster connected, but when I select it, it gets stuck displaying "Loading content" and it never gets out of it. You can't switch to using music from the SD card anymore. Sometimes it stops the navigation and the whole MMI freezes. The only thing you can do is force the MMI to shut down.
Please improve this applications background running process so that battery is not drained so quickly. Beyond this, the application is clunky and does not function consistently. Please improve this key feature of the MMI Audi Connect experience.
Didn't work from start. Only demomode available. Since I never got further then the login screen, I don't know if the rest works. It's disturbing that a brand like Audi is not able to create a proper app for connectivity. The whirlpool app which speaks with my fridge is apparently more sophisticated. That's especially for a German very sad.
This is all cutting edge, brand new stuff so it's bound to have some glitches. We're essentially beta testers. Doing the "shakedown run". Hopefully, the updates will be often and correct the bugs and they'll give more remote features. Remote start, windows and hvac would be nice. Current version is still a little buggy. i.e. giving incorrect "Windows open" and "Lights on" messages causing me to needlessly return to the vehicle to check. The MMI connection link is slow or sometimes doesn't happen. This will be great once it's a bit more evolved.
Won't accept my A4 Black Edition. Retrieves it from MyAudi, then 'Server Error' when I select it for connection. This app also causes the battery to drain and the handset to warm up.
Poorly made app. Sits in the background and drains battery. Sluggish interface and user experience. Needs to be rewritten and functionality should be rethought thru.
It works OK for me. Used it to lock the car when forgot it open. To not drain battery I just terminate it (force stop) when done.
If you can get it to work it would probably be great. They just don't know how to do it, so you can see the disappointment after 3 trips to the dealer.
#Fail right from the start. It asks for my login and password but the only option is DEMO MODE. There's no way to login into the account I've already established when I first bought my Audi.
It works fine for me but could do with alot more features. Drains the battery as it sits in the background if you do not close it properly.
Audi really needs to make Audi Connect Infotainment available in Canada. It's available everywhere else in the world. Not being able to use Google Earth and a lot of the other features is a real shame.
Horrible...i can't even get past the log in screen. A3 isn't even available as an option for vehicle model. It's a useless app, soooooo disappointed
Very poorly made app. Hardly connects at all. Very poor interface. What were Audi thinking?
It would be awesome if you can allow the app to view the 360 camera etc from the app. It's getting there slowly but please make this as good as the car.
Lots of connectivity problems with my S3 2017. Some times the car just reports an error with no other options or information, some other times it just displays the open the mmi app on your phone! Of course the app is open all these times.
Poorly designed and implemented app. Sluggish, unreliable and not really useful. Shameful from a brand like Audi.
Massiver Stromverbrauch.
Never managed to login. There is always a server error with a "try again later" message :(
It was working ok with my Audi TT. But now I want to add new A4 and it tells that car already added. But it's not! I don't see it in application.
Total waste of time. Continually states that my email address is not valid and therefore cannot set up an account. Come on audi sort it. Not a good advertisement for your cars.
Love this app. Works 100% of the time, unlike my VW app from the last car. It's been nice the few times either my keys were in my coat inside and I needed something out of my car or my car was parked somewhere I wasn't at. Also saved me when I locked my keys in the house and needed my spare house key from the car. Love being able to get service reports and keep track when I valet. Well worth the small subscription fee for the connect service.
Drains battery. Tried two phones and the same thing happens. Sometimes have to restart to get to use lock and unlock on my Q7.
A bit rubbish, the car's good the app is rubbish, it fails more often that it works ☹️
Pretty poor app, too clunky much like the cars MMI system. Not much use to me at all.
Doesn't recognise "my audi" login details...so can't access the app. Thank you Audi!
Works well for me and able to have it connected to 2 vehicles and can choose which vehicle to send the route to. Much quicker than adding routes via the sat nav.
Garbage. Doesn't even connect with my 2017 Q5. WHAT'S THE POINT?
Very low usability. Also a lot of errors occurring when refreshing.
Wish it wouldn't drain the battery. Considering uninstalling it
Very poor app cannot locate the car and very limited info. Compare to Mercedes Benz app
Can't use it outside of USA. USA uses myAudi, UK uses yourAudi and they're separate systems!
It drains the battery every time you use the car. Even sometimes when you aren't. GUI could be better though
It uses too much data
I can't login. No idea why. Uninstalling.
Doesn't hold connection
Good way to remotely connect to Audi. Can have more features.
Fast and effective. Mature and easy to use app.
Very good

I'm looking right at my car and the locator says it's 5 miles away.
