Permissions
* Network communication: This permission is used for the retrieval of the current Special Buys and the most recent store data. Information on the user is not transmitted, except for when using the e-mail reminder service. Please refer to our data protection policy for further information.
* Network communication: Before the most recent information is retrieved, a check will be carried out to determine whether a data connection is actually available. If this is not the case, a corresponding notification message will be displayed.
* System boot: Up until now, any reminders set via this app were deleted when rebooting the smartphone. This error did not affect e-mail reminders. With this new permission, the reminders will be reregistered in the system upon each reboot.
* Access to protected storage: This will enable the ALDI USA app to allow Google Maps to cache the map. The ALDI USA app will not directly access your external storage media.
* Approximate location: Using GPS requires a comparably high level of performance. Therefore, the ALDI USA app will initially try to determine your location for the Store Locator functionality by other means.
* Your location: The GPS location is required for the Store Locator functionality.
* Hardware controls (pictures/videos, vibration alarm, flash/light): The nearest stores can be displayed by means of augmented reality functionality. In addition, many of the QR codes printed on our product packages can be scanned via the “QR Code Reader.”

The shopping list is pointless. Only ad items can be added. Specific items, once clicked, take you directly to the website. Items can be added there, but they don't sync with the app, and shopping lost isn't saved on the website. Just doesn't work unless you only shop ad items. Disappointing.

Please bring back the picture of the item on the shopping list. The personal one. Now I have to click on everything on my shopping list just to see what it is because half the time it doesn't even show the whole name of the item. Example Huntington Home..but not what it is. I wish they'd put the person shopping list by Aisle to. That would be awesome!

Limited to items Aldi's elects to display, there is NO search function, even a simple one in this version of the app. Aldi's is a 5, the Aldi App, not so much.

The app works shows sell adds and can make list not much more to it when looking at food it says see store for price.

I am glad there is an app for where I shop for the bulk of my groceries. I just wish there was a recipe tab where you could click on the ingredients and add to the shopping list.

It's OK . It's nice to have the weekly ads but that's not usually why I shop there. I go there for staples...bread, milk, butter ect. I really assumed that I could add all those every day items to this list. Now I need 2 lists...

I like that you can see the adds and that there is a shopping list. I would use this app if I could see the adds from the app and not be directed to my browser. It would be nice if you could add items to your list directly from the sale adds.

I love this app I find it very useful to have the shopping list. Suggestion though, I would love to be able to have an option to put shopping list in alphabetical order! Please add this option! Also the QR Reader does not work. Why? I have asked the workers in the store and they have no idea...
