ALDI Australia for Android
Bit of a waste of time. No real way to search for a specific item and at it to the built in shopping list. The built in shopping list is nice but without the ability to search for and add items that aren't on special its not overly use full.
Just installed. After writing this review will uninstall. I read other reviews. Totally agree with them. Absolutely useless. Coles and Woolworths apps are lets say. Light Years ahead
The shopping list could be so much better having to type the product name is so 1980's Aldi shame on you, take a look at the Coles shopping list functions, even being able to browse through your items and adding them would be a major improvement
It's an online catalogue and take nice to see things I want so I don't miss out
May as well look at your website. This app offers nothing
Needs a search bar. The Coles app is so much better.
Works well for me
Good one
Terrible. Poor effort by aldi app programmers. No search function. Forced to scroll through a big list of products that only shows 10% of aldis actual products. List function is non intuitive. This app is utterly terrible. I have not the words to truly describe how terrible this app actually is. Any positive reviews are from time wasters, who just dump positive comments without care for others wasted time. This app is only for specials promotion and its no good at that either.
You guys broke the App with wifi. It only works with Mobile data now. I called the support and aldi and get the standard "sir there is nothing wrong with the app."
Reminder send no notification on android and very annoying that default reminder is 2 days before. Should remember what reminder user chose and set that as default
The shopping list is all over the place. If you add from the specials page it's a different list to one you have to manually write up with no prices. Come on Aldi the other majors have usable shopping lists that work between platforms.
I don't have any use for it and I'm running out of space and it won't let me uninstall it! It's so annoying!
pretty pointless. what is the point of a shopping list unless you can search for products and populate the list with along with their store prices. am i supposed to go through and add the products and prices manually?? come of it - the other supermarkets let you search for products and add them to lists - that's the ENTIRE point. pretty lazy.
I think the app is useless, because if I go in the aldi store then is nothing there anymore. And only a few German products I'm verry disappointed :-(
Useless, does not show most of the products available at ALDI stores. The Coles' app is much better.
App thoroughly crippled by lack of a search function. It's actually quicker to write up a shopping list than use the app to generate one.
You cannot make a shopping list with only half of the items available at aldi able to be selected. I am talking permanent items.
Can't search for items. Can't make a list. Can't save a list. Rubbish
Being able to search products in the catalogue should be on the list of basic human necessities...THIS APP HAS NO SEARCH FUNCTION!!! HELLO!!!!
Very slow. did not even load specials pages
Unable to make a complete shopping list as only some items are available to select
Worst app. No search to find the product.
No products list. No categories. No search. Useless.
Time consuming as it has no search function
Didn't do what I wanted it to do
Does not show previous weeks sale items.
Best low-cost store for big families to do their shoppers
Should be called ALDI Eastern states app - cant select SA or WA... we have ALDI too :(
This is like having an app just to have an app. There is no thought put to it. Zero practicality. Done by a novice?
I dont see the point in this app
Random list needs categories at least. Would make lt much easier to use.
Should have a search bar
Er...it's basically the mobile website.
Really love this store with all it's wonderful bargains and sales
Colour n Greens good
Its amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent app and shop

Although this is basically just a digital catalog, it looks nice and seems to work well... I like the fact that you can set reminders for the weekly specials, particularly given how quickly some of this stuff sells out, but this could be expanded upon by being able to set "keyword" alerts (e.g. To be notified when cooking or fitness stuff is going to be on sale).
