Stenodroid Pro (Motorola Pro+)

Einfach schneller schreiben: Die App wurde für die Hardwaretastatur des Motorola Pro+ (Deutsche Version) entwickelt und getestet, um die Hardware-Tastatur des Geräts mit zusätzlichen Funktionen auszustatten. Wenn die App auch andere Hardwaretastaturen unterstützt, dann ist das 'Zufall' - ich freue mich auf entsprechende Rückmeldungen. Bei Geräten ohne Hardwaretasten bleibt diese App funktionslos, also bitte keine schlechten Bewertungen, wenn die App auf Geräten ohne Hardwaretastatur nichts bewirkt ...

Die App bietet folgende Funktionen:

1. Automatische Zifferneingabe durch langes Drücken der entsprechenden Buchstabentaste (optional abschaltbar)

2. Alternative 2nd-Keyboard Funktion: Durch kurzen Druck auf die Mikronfontaste des Geräts (unten rechts) schaltet auf eine alternative Tastaturbelegung um (optional abschaltbar). Der aktive 2nd-Keyboard-Modus wird in der Kopfzeile durch ein Icon angezeigt:

a. Deutsche Umlaute und 'ß' lassen sich so schneller eingeben (optional abschaltbar)

b. Multimedia-Tasten: aus anderen Applikationen heraus lassen sich Multimedia-Kommandos wie Play/Stop/Next/Previous an den installierten Mediaplayer senden, ohne die App verlassen zu müssen: Taste 'n': nächstes Lied; Taste '.': vorheriges Lied; Taste 'm': Mute/Stop; Taste 'p': Play/Pause (optional abschaltbar)

c. Cursor-Navigation aktivieren, die mit einem weiteren Druck auf die Microphontaste wieder abgeschaltet werden kann. t=oben; v=unten; f=links; h=rechts; d=Anfang Zeile; j=Ende Zeile; g=Text markieren; r=Anfang Text; b=Ende Text; z=Page Up; c=Page Down (optional abschaltbar)

d. Cursor-Navigation wahlweise im Locked-Mode (2nd-Modus bleibt erhalten) oder im Default-Modus: 2nd-Modus wird nach einmaliger Anwendung zurück gesetzt.

e. 2nd-Keyboard und BACKSPACE löscht rechts vom Cursor.

f. 2nd-Keyboard und SPACE wählt ersten EIntrag aus Vorschlagliste vom lernenden Wörterbuch (siehe unten).

3. Textersetzung / Text Expansion: Es können Textkürzel wie ".mfg" definiert werden, die automatisch zu längeren Texten wie "Mit freundlichen Grüßen" expandiert werden. (optional abschaltbar)

a. Die Ersetzungsregeln sind frei konfigurierbar. Textkürzel bestehen ausschließlich aus (Klein)-Buchstaben. Um diese beim Editieren zu expandieren, werden sie zusammen mit einem beginnenden Punkt eingegeben.

b. Text-Expansions können auch Variablen wie #(DATE), #(TIME), #(DAY) beinhalten, die dynamisch ausgewertet werden.

c. Von einem Regelsatz können Backups in eine XML-Datei erstellt werden. Diese XML-Dateien können auch separat mit einem Editor bearbeitet werden und lassen sich dann in Stenodroid zurückspielen.

d. Experimental: Blackberry(TM)-Modus. Textkürzel werden auch ohne einleitenden Punkt expandiert. (abschaltbar)

4. Lernendes Wörterbuch: in der Fußzeile werden Optionen für Vervollständigungen angezeigt. Für selektierte Ausdrücke wird die Häufigkeit gezählt und auf dieser Grundlage die Reihenfolge der Vorschläge optimiert.


Installation:

Die von der App angeforderten Berechtigungen werden benötigt, um Backups verwalten zu können. Eine freie Version dieses Programms mit Anzeigeneinblendung ist ebenfalls verfügbar.

Aktivierung:

Systemeinstellungen => Sprache und Tastatur => Option für 'Stenodroid' mit Checkbox aktivieren und als Default-Eingabemethode auswählen. Android warnt bei der Aktivierung wie bei jeder alternativen Tastatur-App davor, dass die App auch "Passwörter" und "Kreditkartennummern" erfassen könnte. Es ist richtig, dass das Android-System der App diesen Vollzugriff ermöglicht. Ich verspreche, dass ich von dieser Möglichkeit nicht Gebrauch mache. The app has the following features:

1 Automatic numeric entry by pressing the corresponding letter key (optional switchable)

Alternative 2 2nd keyboard function: A brief press on the Mikronfontaste the device (bottom right) switches to an alternative keyboard layout to (optionally switched off). The active 2nd Keyboard mode is displayed in the header by an icon:

3 text replacement / Text Expansion: It can be defined as text shortcuts that are automatically expanded to longer texts such as "Sincerely," "mfg.". (Optional switchable)

a The replacement rules are freely configurable. Text shortcuts consist exclusively of (small) letters. To expand this during editing, they are entered together with a starting point.

b. Text expansion can also include variables such as # (DATE), # (TIME), # (DAY) that are dynamically evaluated.

c. From a set of rules backups can be created in an XML file. These XML files can also be edited separately with an editor and can then be played back to Stenodroid.

d Experimental: BlackBerry (TM) mode. Text abbreviations are expanded, even without preliminary point. (Can be disabled)

4-learning dictionary: in the footer options for completions displayed. For selected terms, the frequency is counted and on this basis to optimize the sequence of the proposals.


Installation:

The information requested by the app permissions are required to manage backups. A free version of this program with ad insertion is also available.

Activation:

Enable System Settings => Language & keyboard => Option for 'Stenodroid' with checkbox and select it as the default input method. Android warns of activation as with any alternative keyboard app before that the app could also detect "Passwords" and "credit card numbers". It is true that the Android system, the app allows these full access. I promise that I will not make use of this possibility.
