TAPUCATE - Teacher App

Gute APP für Lehrer. Ich benutze sie jeden Tag im Unterricht. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, die auch auf Ideen reagieren.

I am truly impressed by this application. I have been getting the feel of the app, as I want to start using it in the next school term. It takes some getting use to, but once you figure it out it seems great. I would love though if there was a way to pinch zoom or change text size. I must add also that the developer is extremely responsive and tries is best to attend to any issue or query that a person may have. Once again, great job.

Hang in there: the learning curve is steep. But once you learn the app, you will love it. Sometimes I dream of it getting a material design refresh... But I won't get greedy...

I can't change the grading system to 100. It's not one of the options which I need for exams to be marked up to 100. How can I modify it?

Not user friendly at all. You should let people try it before buying it.

Very useful, and the best is the easy contact with the developers and the feedback just in order to make things better.

Purchased for tablet demo. After 3 tries, still couldn't install, due to error about USB or storage. By then, the refund period expired. Fortunately, I had no intention of actually using this app. I guess when it doesn't install, the developer can claim the app does all sorts of wonders.

App was incredibly difficult to learn. Does not calculate averages they way I do (points). Many "mystery grades" bc names of assignments do not appear in overview. could not print out legible progress report to give students. Grading system still a mystery to me. I think language/procedural barriers limit the usefulness of this for me (American). Web interface/ cloud storage would have been nice. Used for 1 quarter then went bk to excel. entirely disappointed. Have minor in comp sci, masters in instr tech

TAPUCATE is a very intuitive interface once you become familiar with the application. I agree with other reviewers that it will take some time to realize all of the many features that make this app superior to desktop applications that keep you tethered to your desk. Having said that, most tablet owners will be able to learn the most basic functions in no time. I purchased the extension pack, which allows the creation of seating plans that you can use to enter marks while students are working. I can also efficiently collect data on homework completion and learning skills on the fly. I can't say enough about this app. Honestly, I just finished the first reporting period, and aside from student work, TAPUCATE was the only other thing I needed to have available during parent-teacher conferences. The only request I would make would be to see improved formatting for PDF exports, such as student profiles, class profiles and seating plans. But this is a minor gripe since I now prefer to share my data from the device itself Six stars!

The best guidebook software I'e come across in a very, very long time.

The best thing about this app so far is the developer's follow up to questions and e-mails. There's a bit of a learning curve, and I am still learning the program but like it very much. I'm hoping that once I have learned the ins and outs that this program will meet all my grading needs. If you are debating about purchasing contact the seller, he was more than willing to give me a couple of days to play with the program.

Once you have got into the apps way of doing things it is simple but effective. Worthwhile sticking with it. New seating plan addition is great.

I think AndroClass is a great application: complete, customizable and improving. The author is also very attentive to suggestions and is seriously working on the app's further development. I've been testing and using it here in Italy and had no major problems in adapting its rich options to the Italian school system.

I tried several ways to keep my records as a teacher, and this app is by large the best way. I enjoy very much its completeness and, at the same time, its flexibility.

Amazing app. Has a pretty big learning curve but the developer is more than helpful. Will be great when the manual is translated to English

This app is so helpful for teachers, once you have it you wonder how you ever coped without it. You can have your total administration in just one place.

My initial review was: Too constrained for use in maintaining marks and records in a university environment. Would have preferred a demo on GPlay to work with before purchase. Probably workable for primary schools. Better off working with paper or Excel. However, the developer contacted me through Play and GMail (5 Stars for support). I went back to AndroClass and worked with its setup for a University undergraduate class I take. The system is an effective grading and monitoring instrument. I look forward to fully implementing and working with it in the higher education environment.

The best app for teachers up to now. The developers answer any questions/trouble arising along its use. They also take comments into account and they even incorporate some suggestions in new versions!! I tried the mobile version last year but now I am glad with the tablet version. And the last addition of exporting data in pdf format is just the best thing they could have thought of since it is a way of having records in a suitable format for most school offices. Thanks a lot for this app.

This is really a great application for keeping fine-tuned track of everything. The developer has really thought of a lot of possible scenarios and has done a great job of making this application accessible to everyone. And the developer is extremely responsive. The only issues are tied directly to the documentation. There's not a lot of it at this point. Though, I will say, that I've emailed the developer and it sounds like they're working on it now. I definitely recommend Androclass.

Excellent program, solves nearly every problem for Teaches wanting portability AND security. A definite must have on your list of APPS!

Going to implement next term, but after playing around I can already see the vast potential this app has. This is hands down the best and most useful app I have seen for teachers. It still has some room for development, but any limitations are a minute issue in comparison to what it already delivers. For $7 it is easily a must buy!

As my next school year doesn't start until next week I can't test this fully yet. However, having spent a bit of time getting used to how it works, it really does seem to do everything I want it to.

I have spent all summer looking at solutions to tracking and monitoring. My school is about to start testing tablets in the classroom and I was looking for easy to use software. This app fits the bill and I would highly recommend it. It takes a few minutes to understand the interface but you will soon realise that it is highly customisable and will surely be able to do anything you want. I will be using it to monitor attendance, homework, classwork and test results. You can leave comments on students marks, on students and on classes and set reminders for the next time you see them. Great if you are as forgetful as me! What is even better is the creator listens to you and helps you out. With this kind of support and future updates this app will be unstoppable as the go to app for teachers.

1/07/2012 Just updated and it's got some great new features like random student choice along with some improved layouts. Fantastic to have the developer not only listening to advice but implementing new designs!
