WiFi Overview 360 and the Pro version is not only a WiFI-Scanner, which shows all WiFis in range, the app is much more. This app is a "Swiss Army Knife" for WiFis.
With this tool you can manage and optimize your used wireless network and with one look you'll get detailed information of the WiFis (WiFi name (SSID), signal strength, channelnumber, encryptionin - open or not and much more) in your environment.
The tab "Ch Check" (Channel Checker) and "Ch. Radar" (Channel Radar) are powerful tools to optimize your own WiFi network. For best performance your network must use a channel or frequency range where are no other wireless networks or little as possible. WiFi Overview 360 gives you the best choice for the channel.
With a powerful "WiFi Detector/Sniffer" (only Pro Version), who expanded the Android function enormously. "WiFi Detector" looking for open WiFis, gives a notification (sound, pop-up text window, vibrate and text-to-speech - if you want) and can connect automatically.

Links to virus threats! This used to be a nice app, with unobtrusive ads. Now the ads are not only obtrusive, but one even pops up claiming your device has viruses and offering removal! Of course it is eother a scam or virus, but I thought these types of ads were prohibited feom the Play store.

WARNING: Don't download. It constantly pops up intrusive games links that are difficult to shut down. I'll be uninstalling ASAP and loading an app that isn't greedy and doesn't ruin the user experience.

It constantly scans channels and recommends the best channels with CH Check. It could use a timer on this to give the best channel after analysis for like 5,10,15,20 minutes. It could use a bandwidth speed test and a way to show overlapping history. It's better than insider.

Fantastic application, found the reason for a dead spot location at both 5 ghz and 2.5 ghz. Reorientation proved 10 db gain with 2 min work. Left the tablet in radar mode and audio up reoriented the wifi. Boom solved so many issues. Fantastic apk

Warning! Overpermissioned app. Potentially nice app BUT updates have added unnecessary and intrusive permissions - DEVICE ID AND CALL DATA AND PRECISE GPS. These perms are NOT needed for app functions! App is now potential data mining spyware. What are you doing??? Explain your need / use of these perms in app description.
