About AmberHome Weather
AmberHome Weather is a weather app with very detailed and accurate weather data for every location of the world.
Get a short overview of the current weather conditions on the start screen and a clear weather forecast for the next days with just a little swipe of your finger.
From the overview pages you can go deeper into detailed weather forecasts for each day or look at the hourly or 3-hourly forcast for the next 48 hours.
If you want to know how the weather will be in the next days with one look at your homescreen just add the very detailed homescreen widget with current condition and a short forecast for the next four days.
AmberHome Weather uses the very detailed and accurate weather data from yr.no, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and the NRK. The data is not only very accurate in Norway but all over the world. For most countries in the world there is accurate weather forcast with a 3 hour resolution for the next 48 hours. Some locations will have one hour resolution for a very exact weather forecast.

If you add a location to the app you can edit the altitude for the location. Normally you should leave this to 0. Only if you have big differences from the temperature the app shows to the real temperature you can try to add the real altitude of the location.

Certainly the prettiest widget I've ever seen. Unfortunately the temp forecast for my city in Wisconsin often differs by up to 10°F from other sources. I am not sure if this is more accurate, or if those are. (I really love the Oxygen theme for the widget.)

The hourly forecast is like every 6 hours, that's useless. Please make it every 1 hour. The widget is nice but you should also offer a 4x2 widget and show more forecast. The current temp value is off by about 8 deg F for Southern California USA, that's useless, so you should add more sources so the user can chose an accurate source.

May be fine outside North America but poorly details local specific forecast and actual weather data but then doesn't use any USA meteorological source. No text detail simply iconic graphical weather app. Lacks maps and radar imaging. Lacks severe weather alerts and 15 minute update cycle. Some nice pretty icons and decent layout. Network location API worked very well to identify my locale

Love the interface. Love the widget and different sets of icons. Nevertheless the weather provider is totally outside the track. Change it. I'm still giving 4 stars because of its graphics.

After trying lots of widgets, I've found this to be what I need. I have one request for adding a shortcut to hourly forecast. Now I can choose both overview and forecast using the widget, but for Hourly need to click on Settings.

Like nearly every weather app I've tried, the weather and forecast is plain wrong. I live in Melbourne, Australia- check the current weather and forecast against the Australian bureau of meteorology and you'll see what I mean. I think many of these weather apps don't take the time difference into account, but that does not account for being so wrong. What is the weather forecast source? Otherwise, a nicely done app!

Simple, yet with lots of data that is accurate. I've been using this app for years and it never let me down much like the weather source YR.no. You can also download a few icon packs to modify the looks of the app. Excellent.
