Camera Sound off! (root)

As I installed and used this app I found its perfect but when my phone's battery reached to minimum(say 15%) then my system UI unfortunately stopped and no other app worked, but charging my phone relieved me /Xolo A500 s

First app to work on that problem, am grateful. It would be nice if I could find the files that 'the app located' and just delete them forever. I don't see why in the world would a photocamera shutter need to dound like ak47 lock and load sound and be attached not to media, but darn ringtone volume. Shame. But this app is good(for me).

Did not work on Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920T running Android 7.0 (stock). Willing to change review to 5 stars if it starts working :)

It turns sound off but it also created errors on my phone when my battery was low. I couldn't use it at all unless it was plugged in to the charger. REMEMBER TO TURN SOUND BACK ON AFTER YOURE DONE USING THE CAMERA and there won't be any problem

It worked, but it caused errors, so I had to uninstall it. It switched around some system sounds. Taking out my Note 3's pen, for example, gave off the Samsung ringtone sound, which got annoying fast.

that annoying shutter sound keeps me from taking pics on public places,since i didnt know my phone was rooted..then i found this amazing app!THANK YOU!!

Until I updated my Nexus 6 to Android 7.0 nougat. Now it tells me sound is off, but it isn't. Open again, and it's set to on again. Won't silence.

Works for Google camera on stock marshmallow Samsung note 4 (n910s) but not for the built in Samsung camera. Don't like the full screen pop up ads though.

It's really working on my device very well.... I installed three different apps before getting this as the correct one.. I recommend CAMERA SOUND OFF! (ROOT) for every one. Loved it.

I've been crazily looking in the phone to silence my camera sound but didn't work.Finally I got this app.

I have a Galaxy S4 with 4.4.2 and your app silences the shutter sound when the flash is off but doesn't when the flash is on. Fix and get 5 stars.

With the sounds off when the battery hits critical systemui constantly crashes. Deal breaker. When you fix this issue of locking all system notification sounds I will reinstall.

Works great on my sprint Samsung galaxy s5 sport no more shutter sounds when taking video use to have shutter sound when i use to start video but had no effect on sound from video like i can still snap my fingers and play back video and hear me talking or snapping fingers no more shudder sound taking pictures either just what i was looking for great app glad i rooted my phone awhile back opens up more options

My Korean version of S3 wouldn't shut up when I took photos. Thanks to this app, I am no longer annoyed or embarrased by that stupid camera sound ever again! Thank you so much!

My phone is Samsung 4 Edge (Samsung Gaxy Edge) with only right sode edge, korean and it is not working. Please fix it and help me remove this horrible setting asap please!

in start only cam shutter was mute. now everything on my mobile is totally mute including All tones,alerts,music,video and all apps.

Does not work for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910F). Hope the developer could fix this.

Was on rooted Taiwan lollipop 5.0 and it worked fine...I flashed to more recent NZ lollipop 5.0 ,rooted, and didn't work at all .it says its located file,and it has root access just fine but camera still makes noise!

what it really does is systemUI crashes! and it renames /system/media/audio/ui to /system/media/audio/uiOFF by doing that, systemUI cannot find ogg files () to play for instance when your battery goes low and it crashes!!!! and i spend 4 days to figure why!! were you too lazy to create some silent ogg files???

If the auto detect night shot function is on, the shutter sound still plays. Other than that, I love it. Worked where other apps failed.

Tried to disable the sound by hand using Ghost Commander and ConnectBot but I couldn't get it to work. This worked perfectly. Also gets rid of the irritating screenshot sound.
