IMSWARE.APP Inventory kombiniert mobile Endgeräte wie Smartphone und Tablet-PC mit mobilen Handscannern zu einem handlichen und leistungsfähigen Werkzeug. IMSWARE.APP Inventory ist ein Erfassungs- und Abgleich-Tool, das eng mit dem Hauptsystem IMSWARE vernetzt ist. Die Anbindung erfolgt über einen (gesicherten) Webservice.

In diesem erstellen Nutzer mit Hilfe von definierten Workflows für Inventur und Inventarisierung Inventarisierungs-Vorgänge, die als Vorlage auf das mobile Endgerät übertragen werden. Der Arbeitsablauf gestaltet sich anschließend weitgehend automatisch. Nötig ist nur, dass das mobile Endgerät mit dem Handscanner verbunden ist.

Ist IMSWARE.APP Inventory gestartet, übernimmt die APP die hinterlegte Vorlage und führt den Nutzer durch den Arbeitstag. Die Vorgänge werden überwiegend per Scanner gesteuert, das System erkennt anhand des Barcodes automatisch Räume und kann von diesen auch Inventar oder Anlagen unterscheiden. So können Smartphone und Tablet meist in der Tasche bleiben und allein der Scanner für die Inventur oder Inventarisierung muss bedient werden.

Anzeigen auf dem Gerät führen den Nutzer durch die einzelnen Schritte jeder Datenaufnahme – mit Hilfe von vordefinierten Templates können so neue Objekte mit minimaler Dateneingabe neu erfasst und bewertet werden. Das vereinfacht die Erfassung, spart Zeit und schafft durch den immer gleichen Ablauf mehr Sicherheit für konsistente Daten. Und sollte vor Ort kein Handscanner zur Verfügung stehen, kann auch die integrierte Kamera des Smartphones oder Tablet-PCs genutzt werden. Dann kann das Gerät aber nicht in der Tasche bleiben.
